I just received a topbox mini kit I bought off ebay for $35. It was listed as new but has obviously been used. The coils are empty & the rebuilding stuff is half gone. It came was listed including a bottle of juice which is a half full 30ml & there's a battery in it. My first inclination was to return it but to be honest I decided on a kanger to try building coils, the battery is a plus & the juice smells delicious. I'd be out $ for the shipping so I'd end up with $25 or so & have to wait for another setup to arrive. I'm thinking about keeping it. Any thoughts?

I'm a very principal based person & would normally spend more to prove a point than it cost but had some tough things pop up in the last couple days. Don't want to get into the sob story but I don't really have time to waste on it or money to lose. Basically I know sending it back is the right thing but trying to make sure keeping it isn't too stupid. I didn't know it came with a battery & have that already btw.

According to information posted by mooch the battery isn't great quality (subohmcell)

Ok, not the best quality, but it could still be used safely, depending on the power you demand from it. How used is it? Whole lotta scratches on the negative end? Are the wrap and the insulator around the positive contact in good shape?

Subohm Cell AKA an A Bin Grade LG HE2/HE4, Kbox Mini 50watts, depending on age of the battery, 50watts won't tax it, so for that mod it is an alright battery.

Where I am, I don't get to handle many mods to really get a good look at them. Things like construction, ease of use, etc. I would take a good look at it, not vape it, then send it back the same day.

EBay is just not the way. Prices have just come down and become much more competitive. If someone is getting rid of a mod right before negative legislation, nope, something hinkie. Most everyone is stockpiling.

Deception...If I didn't get my money back today, that would be one negative review.

I know nothing about ebay (as this post will show), but have heard of buyers filing a complaint on false sales. If it was advertised as new, but arrived obviously used, I would like to think ebay would not want this seller to continue. Ebay should refund the money to you, withhold payment to the seller, and arrange the return (if seller wants it back) C.O.D.

Then again, that's why I know nothing about ebay and avoid it like the plague.

Man i would never let that slide , there's just some people you don't try to get over on and i'm one of those types of people.

But people come in all personalities and temperaments and if it is no big deal to you then i guess you keep it .

I would of immediately challenged him in a brawl to the death , we are talking about thirty five bucks here after all .

I'm a mechanic & with what we spend on tools ebay is a necessity. I've had to open cases against a few sellers before & always win. There's no doubt I can get my money back. If it was a regular seller I definitely would. Pretty sure this is some kid. I came home from being at the hospital with my wife to find this. Definitely ...... but the more I think about it the less it's worth my time. I'm actually pretty happy with the deal but it's the whole thing of it being described as new. Guess I'll see how I feel about it tomorrow

Get a refund, you do not want a half bottle of juice and leave feedback to that effect.
