I've bought some things on eBay, and sold a couple mech mod batteries, but I've since heard that it's against eBay policy to sell anything e-cig related. My listings weren't removed, but I've heard complaints from others that theirs were.

Is this really their policy? I read it, and it said anything intended for tobacco or illegal drug use is not allowed. Well, e-cigs are not intended for tobacco or illegal drug use. You don't even need to add nicotine.

Any thoughts on this? How much truth is there to not allowing something like Kanger coil heads being put up for auction? Tons of this stuff is on there currently and I have a few things I'd like to unload, but I don't want to get banned from eBay. This stuff really doesn't seem to violate their policies as they're written, unless I missed something.

First I only saw used for tobacco and illegal drugs. I see now a line that says electronic cigarettes and components.

Apparently a lot of people are getting around it. Especially when it comes to stuff like coils and drip tips. Page after page of that stuff. I thought maybe there was a loophole somewhere.

I don't see how it makes any sense. You can sell certain types of pipes and rolling paper. What are people using them for? You can't even put tobacco in a tank.

It doesn't have to make sense, and it doesn't have to be enforced unless they feel like it. It's their business, and they can run it however they want to. As customers, we can either accept that, or refuse to do business with them. I buy stuff on eBay all the time, including a lot of vaping supplies. If they decide to crack down, that will make me sad, but there's really not much I can do about it other than not giving them my money.

Anyone know of another way to sell this sort of thing that allows it? I see it's prohibited on Amazon too, although I'm seeing a bunch of e-cig related stuff on there.

You can sell stuff like batteries, wire, wicking material, empty bottles, etc. as long as it's not identifiable as being e-cig specific, on EBay. Otherwise, there are loads of Facebook 'Buy, sell, trade' sites.

Thanks, I'll check that out.

When I first started this I went crazy and bought a bunch of coil heads wholesale, figuring it would save me money in the long run. Now I prefer another tank and I'm stuck with 'em. lol
