I guess what I need to know most about the tanks is, how long are they good for? Can you use them indefinitely, or do they somehow become dysfunctional with use/time?

Also: I'm at home all day, so I just keep refilling the same tank. I've been using this one all day, and I notice some moisture bubbles in the part of the tank where the e-juice is not, just inside the opening from which you draw vapor -- what is it, what causes it, does it matter, does it indicate I need to clean this tank, or toss it, or what?

Thx!!

I thought I read that the caps could be bought separately. Does anyone have a line on this? Are there silicone caps?

I've cleaned my tanks out twice now. I completely disassemble them, run some hot water through them, dry, and refill. I fold a small piece of paper towel into a sharp angle so that I can get all the areas that condensation builds, especially by the intake vents. (The tiny intake vents.)

battery:
Vapor Source eRoll Batteries - Parts - eRoll

atomizers:
JoyeTech eGo-C Atomizer Head (Type A)

cartridges:
Joyetech eRoll Tank Empty Cartridges (5 pack)

I had one of these guys for the longest time with no issues what so ever. I had to replace the atomizer maybe every month and a half to two months. Wish you luck!
Also, if you want to carry the cartridges on you to switch flavors easily, they will leak if you don't have the rubber caps anymore, but what I have seen some people do is put them in an empty container of tic tacs. :vapor:

I bought tank caps, can't remember where. They were hard plastic, not like the soft silicone tank caps they sell for the eCab ...

I did try a small silicone o-ring on both the eRoll and the Ovale Elips tanks, seemed to make it worse on tanks that already leaked at the spike. By displacing the tank, the surface tension seal was not as effective ...

That's condensation build-up. You can disassemble it and clean it if it bothers you.

Can someone suggest an easy way to get the caps off both ends, without destroying the tank? It seems like the condensation is muffling the taste/throat-hit, making the draw much harder, which is bugging me. I'd like to get them cleaned out and dried so they work right again. I haven't used them long enough for them to be FUBAR, so it's got to be the condensation. And when I say easy way, please keep in mind I'm a female-- I don't have the strength in my hands/arms that men do.

And no, I'm not talking bout the silicone caps that you take off when new, put on when you want to take filled tanks with you. I mean the caps that are actually part of the tank, the two end parts with holes in them.

Thx!

I don't take the caps off the atomizer end, because I'm worried about breaking them. I know some people do, though. There's two little clips on that cap, so I think you just pinch both clips simultaneously and pull. For the mouthpiece end, a micro screwdriver seems to work best. Just stick it in the hole and wriggle back and forth until it pops out. There's also an inner past that comes out as well. Rinse everything, let it dry and reassemble.

Good luck.

Ok, thanks. I can probably do that with the mouthpiece-end, my husband has some tiny tools for "operating" on my glasses. :D But the end with the clips, *he* can get those off, but I never have been able to grab/pull hard enough. *sigh* Strength like that is beyond me, and probably many if not most women -- and my hands/wrists are strong from typing. Looks like there's a new item on the "Honey-do" list. ;)

I don't take the the end caps off for refilling (I use a needle tip bottle to fill thru the hole), but I do take them off periodically to wash out my tanks. They're kind of a pain to get off. What I do is stick my thumbnail under one of the clips and pull outward and upward until the cap pops up on one side. Then you can grab it and pull it off.

And if you have any trouble removing the cap at the mouth end, a bent paperclip angled into the hole works pretty well for prying it up.

Ok, thanks! I don't even take the filling-end off for cleaning; since I use just a vinegar-water solution to clean them, I just rinse them by using a dropper to fill them with water, then, when they're rinsed and I have the vinegar-water solution in the bowl, I use the dropper to fill them with the vinegar-water; then plop them into the mix for a few days, then empty, and rinse again also using the dropper; it seems to work really well so far. It was that mouthpiece-end I wondered about getting off, because that seems to be where the condensation problem is. But, I was wrong, I think, that the condensation was affecting the taste; I think it was just a case of "vapor tongue," because after I vaped a few tanks of peppermint, the taste of the Virginia came back. I guess my mouth just got kinda "numb" to the taste of the stuff I vape most regularly.

Thx!

The moutpiece is pretty easy to get off though.. just get something that fits in the hole and wiggle it a bit. If u ever feel the need to clean those two. Theres a second piece of plastic in there that might fall out so watch out for that.

I like the clear tanks better, easier to see when they're getting low ...

Haven't noticed a difference, they all seep a bit ...

Member aelwero just posted in another thread that the tanks for the Kamry K500 fit the eRoll and have a silicone seal that doesn't leak, but I haven't found a source yet for just the tanks ...
