Wish I knew how to get rid of those without a syringe.

Not that I am any expert (clearly) -- but I have seen people refer to flicking the cone to get the air bubbles displaced from the atty. I have tired this and it seems to work. If you hold the eRoll battery side down and flick the cone a few times you can see bubbles rise to the top (if the tank is pretty full). There were a couple of times that I had a hard draw and the flicking technique helped. Take it with a grain of salt from me though, I am an admitted noobie. :)

Thanks... yeh, I do that.. works like getting it out of a syringe but my bubble trouble (LOL) is when filling the tank with the atty hole side up. There's juice at the hole that keeps the tank air from coming out unless I just keep filling and let the air push that juice out. I not only loose juice that way but its a mess. The tank that leaked had alot of that air and a lot of juice at the hole so I just didn't fill it all the way if I remember correctly. I've tried everything to get that juice at the hole out before trying to fill but, so far, the only thing that half-way works is sucking it up with a syringe. So, I think too much air in the tank filling caused some sort of pressure problem and caused the leak just sitting in the PCC. I have tried the flicking thing before trying to fill but it doesn't work. I think maybe because there's not enough juice at the hole for the weight of it to jar loose and run down into the tank so the air can come out. I don't know if this is what causes leaks until or unless there's a repeat of what happened. But I would sure like to know how to get that little bit (sometimes more or less) away from the atty hole so the air can get out.

Edit: Its wordy but was hard to explain. Anyway, most times I don't have this trouble and fill right up to the top and haven't had leaks so I think this must be, at least partly, what the cause of some leakage is.

Oh, I get what you're saying. I've had that too and don't know the solution yet.... I've taken to just switching to a new tank and cleaning the messy one later (I stick it in a zip lock baggie)... but that means carrying around more tanks.

You over filled the tank it seems, you can only fill the tanks 3/4 full, you need too allow room for the spike too go into the tank, otherwise juice will run out.

How high do you fill it in relation to the tabs that are on the atomizer end? I am thinking that it's okay to fill a little past the tabs, but stop before the removable cap piece at the end that goes into the atomizer (at least I think it's a removable piece).

Try stop the juice before the tabs, also dry with tissue inside of the cone and the tank before inserting in together again and give it a good twist, this way you get a good tight dry fit,you are over filling the tanks, sucking too hard too will cause flooding.

Thank you, I just need to follow it all now and see where it goes. If it turns out to be just a couple of bad tanks, I'll let it be. Thanks for chiming in with your tips too. Much appreciated![/QUOTE

There really is no other way it can leak and thats where the spike goes into the tank.

You would think so but not true. I have seen it leak from just about every point. I had one of the first models and it leaked from under the atty because of the pcc design. I have see it leak because it was firing in the case from fluid accumulating in the auto battery switch. A bad wick can cause the atty to flood and leak. I would say i have seen more leaks because of other issues than from the spike into the tank. Probably the most common is from a dirty atty, or a bad wick.

I see your point, ive never had the Eroll but i do have an Ego for backup,i suspect they sent her a faulty kit as it was open when she recieved it.

The vendor that she ordered from has sent them opened before. They place an extra atomizer cone in the package, which is why they open it. Many people have received them this way with no issues. It may be a faulty kit, but I don't think that automatically means it's faulty.

OP, I hope you get your issues worked out soon. Leaks suck.

I've been playing with these fill lines and am having the best luck with the: hmmm... from the bottom up with it upside down, there are two line on the outside you can feel with your finger nail.. one up from there, there's another line that you can't feel and that's where I've been filling it to. It is below the bottom of the tabs so maybe I'm not filling enough now but its working great. Haven't had another leak.

Here is a tip that I read somewhere and that I always follow. After fitting the new refilled tank, take a couple of puffs before putting it in your bag or pocket. That helps to create a vacuum in the system and prevent any leaking.

Hope that helps, however my eRoll hasn't ever leaked, so I can't say for sure that it is a useful tip! Anyway one more thing to try

Good luck
