Hi folks. I'm a 510 user and I love it. Like most, I have decided to broaden my e-cig inventory. I've been looking at all the different high voltage devices and couldn't decide on what to get. I noticed The Protege and got incredibly hyped. After reading around a bit, I think that I have learned that :

1. The Protege is not a high voltage device and should perform similar to my 510, but with much better battery life.

2. I can buy the PS PT and have a high voltage device without needing a Prodigy.

3. Can use any adapters I buy for the PS PT with The Protege.

Is all of this correct? Is the PS PT really a 5v device? It seems to be from what I have read, but I just want to be sure. As of now, I am planning on ordering both in the very near future. (If they're in stock ;))

Also, I do like flavor, but I really like a nice throat hit and good vapor probably more so...Which atomizer is more likely to knock me down? :)

Thanks,

Trip

Yes all correct as far as my understanding goes. Yes the USBpass can be used as a high voltage device depending on your power source, ex. some power packs you can select voltage output and thus can in theory have a pack at 3.7v ,5v ,6v ,7, etc. which could make it high voltage and normal 3.7 if you can find one with 3.7 output.

Tekkeon - myPower ALL, MP3300/MP3400/MP3450

Above supports 3V, 4.5V, 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V, 14V. Couldn't find if its selectable but have seen other that were.

Well just my $.02.

Tripaholic, are you buying the PT over the Prodigy simply because of price? I'm just wondering because I'm thinking about what to get also. I have a note of caution... you "could" damage your computer using the PT in the USB. I'm not saying probably, just possibly.

Yeah. I figure I can get the protege for my on-the-go device and the PT for my high voltage device at home and it comes to about the same price as a prodigy but with the ability to use the same adapters on both devices. I like the look of the protege, too. Looks like a lighsaber, lol. Since the $1.95 power is good, I'll just order that. I have a fancy mobo and would prefer not to fry it. :) Thanks again, guys.
