When I first got my 510, the manual works bettter than the auto but it seems like the juice lasted longer and I got better draws at first. Now I dont get much vapor at all. I can fill the cart and get some good draws and then later, the draws as like it is empty or something and dont taste as good. Some of my juices are just PG and some are a mix. I feel like I have to always *top* off to get it to work right??

How long does the wicking material last? Am I needing to clean my atty? How do you do that? I have a couple of times taken the wicking material out and washed and dried it.

My auto gets REALLY hot too. vs the manual, Is that normal?

Danke!

You can always just blow your atty out. Take it off, put your mouth on the cart end, bend over the sink or just get a napkin up in front of it and blow like hell! You'll see a bunch of juice fly out of it. Blow until nothing comes out and then wipe off the threads, really well, and reattach it to the battery.

Drip 2-3 drops directly on the silver coil in the atty and give it a try. If still tastes a little bit 'funky', drop 1 more and keep going until it DOES taste good.

If you're getting REALLY hot, it's possible that you're vaping too quickly. You have to let it cool down a bit or you won't be giving the liquid time to wick properly.

But, sounds like a combo of both..give it a try and let us know how it went! :)

Oh, and you'll notice that VG seems to take longer to run dry.

If you're using the polyfill that came in the cart, take it out, cut it into 3 pieces with a SHARP pair of scissors. Then, fill up the cart with liquid up to the part where it fits into the atty. I find I can get anywhere between 10-13 drops in there.

Then, put one of the LITTLE pieces of polyfill back on top, but don't press it down. It should sit about 1 mm from the edge. Give it a drop or two to wet it, and you're good to go! Depending on your vaping style, it should last you a while like that!

And no, it doesn't flood the atty and no, I don't know why it DOESN'T!

Thanks! I will try that!! Hey is the poly fill the same stuff that is in like... pillows??

Yup! Just make sure that you don't get any little 'hairs' peeking out and into your atty...they taste NASTY when they get caught in there! 8-o

Mind you, I don't seem to run into that with the 'trimmed down' versions anymore...hmmm...
