Hi guys, really enjoying my DID after taking months to figure out how to properly roll a coil. My issue was simply that I had to raise the mesh and not make it touch the bottom and also not tightening the top nut too much (that pulled the top coil too hard). Once I figured that out, I'm enjoying perfect rolls and plumes of vapor.

Anyway, the question is:

1. Do genesis styles consume more juice? I'm going through a lot!!
2. How come my battery life has dropped drastically by moving to a Genesis. I prefer a 4/3 wrap @ 1.8/1.9 ohms vs a 3/2 wrap @ 1.3/1.4. I find that my battery life on my PV's (Provari and Buzz Pro II) has dropped drastically with using the DID.

That's about it for now.

Yes, properly wicking genesis style atomizer burns through juice like a 70's muscle car does gas....

For me, I find that with the genesis style atomizers I ended up preferring the vape of lower resistances and higher voltages than when I used standard atomizers thus making battery time less. Never been a problem for me going all day/night on 1 18650 tho...and I chain vape...............no, I mean I ALWAYS chain vape...:p:headbang:

Hey guys does anyone know if its normal for the tank part of this to get hot when using, its getting pretty hot, not as hot as the part where the coil and wick are at but pretty hot just the same, is this normal. Thanx Ron

Yeah it can get hot, but it's the top cap that gets really hot. Normal operation as far as I'm concerned.
