I am wanting to upgrade to a longer lasting vaporizer. I currently use KR808 batteries. They last about 2 to 3 hours and take about 3 hours to charge. This gets frustrating, especially because after about 2 hours the vapor is pretty weak. I keep four in rotation, but my first 2 are already starting to die (they won't hold a charge for more than an hour).

I made the mistake of forgetting to plug up 2 of my batteries yesterday. I'm sitting here staring at the charger waiting for the light to turn green. Very frustrating !

I'm looking for something that won't require that I spent $20 every month or so on batteries (that don't last through the day).

I've heard good things on this forum about the Provape-1.

But, it is a bit of investment, $129.95 (especially since I'm already heavily invested in the KR808's). So before I lay out my cash, I would love to hear from the experts.

Also, I have only ever used cartomizers, but I am interested in dripping with an atomizer. I've heard a lot of good things about the quality of the vape using this method.

I would also like to have the option of using carto's when I'm "out and about" when dripping would be inconvienient.

I'm not exactly sure what equipment I need.

Provape.com has 2 starter kits (not including the basic, which is just the vaporizer and an adapter).

The ProVape-1 Beginners Kit V2.1 comes with:

• 1 - ProVape-1 3.7V Electronic Vaporizer with 510 adapter
• 1 - 5 pack of Low Resistance 510 Cartomizers
• 2 - Standard Protected Rechargeable Batteries
• 1 - Dual Battery Charger (US Plug Adapter)

The ProVape-1 Starter Kit V2.1 comes with:

• 1 ProVape-1 3.7V Electronic Vaporizer
• 1 Atomizer Adapter 510
• 1 Silver 510 Atomizer
• 2 Protected Rechargeable Batteries (14500, 3.7V)
• 1 Dual Battery Charger (US Plug Adapter)

If I'm understanding how this works, I will need to buy one of the kits, let's say the Beginners Kit. Then I will additionally need to purchase:

• 1 Atomizer Adapter 510
• 1 Silver 510 Atomizer

Is this all I will need in order to enjoy both worlds? (Other than juice, of course.)

Also, I'm a little confused about how many batteries the Provape-1 uses. The kit comes with 2 batteries, but it doesn't look like there's room for 2. Is this just a photo issue?

Thanks for any advice!

Some people might say that if you want an all-day battery, the 14500 is a little small. But those with larger batteries are, well, larger... You can't have a tiny mod that lasts a long time on one charge. When using 14500 cells you'll need more than two for a normal life (I have around eight I think). They are advertised as 500mAh or more but I wouldn't give a Li-ion of that size more than 400mAh in real life. The best cells are AW's IMR type but you need to make sure they fit, first.

You get about one hour of average use per 125mAh of battery power. 'Course, everyone's idea of 'average' is different.

Anyway that mod is nice and if you don't like it then it will sell for a good price in the Classifieds. Same goes for the batteries & charger - if your next mod doesn't use them, they will fly out as well. The 14500 is about the benchmark mod cell, I guess. Fits a lot of stuff.
