Questions about the VAMO (thinking of buying one)

So this will be my first APV purchase and right now the two models I'm looking at are the L-Rider Lambo 4.0 and the VAMO I've already got enough info on the Lambo to almost sell me on it (except I keep hearing complaints about Vivi Nova's not working on it due to air flow issues which I've heard can be resolved by a 510-510 connector but I've heard airy draw complaints with those)

So Vamo owners I got a couple quick questions for you.

1. Does the VAMO have any airflow issues like the complaints I've heard about the Lambo and Vivi Nova's having no air flow?

2. Does the VAMO have any issues with recessed 510 connections or ego threaded devices?

3. How good is the short circuit protection on the Vamo. I'm also gonna be getting into the world of rebuildable atomizers soon and I want a device that won't die on me should I make the inevitable noobie screw up or encounter some manner of fluke that causes a short (yes I know how to use a multimeter to check it first but still better to have built in protection just in case)

4. How durable is the device? Its inevitable that sooner or later its gonna fall off my desk, or get dropped no matter how careful I am. Is this one of those OH GOD NO ITS DESTROYED scenarios or oh no its scratched situations?

5. Do you suggest flat top or button top IMR batteries for the VAMO?

6. Have any Vamo owners experienced any problems with their devices that just sprung up out of the blue or had any issues like the Vamo going to crap on them after a short period of ownership with regular use. (I'm a bit of a chain vaper so these things are good to know cause this APV will be used a lot)

7. Is there anything else I should know about the VAMO good or bad.

Thank you for taking time to read this and thank you very much if you posted any replies which help me make up my mind.

Edit: Side question: Since VAMO has Variable Wattage which I'm mostly unfamiliar with anything I need to know about VW going in?

Edit 2: I have purchased a VAMO 3 batteries, and a trustfire charger (gonna also grab a xtar WP2 since it has overcharge protection and keep the trustfire as a backup charger) So Thanks to you guys and also thanks to the vapers at the r/ecigs on reddit for helping me decide on the VAMO

1. Not mine. Mine handles my VN's without issue.
2. I've used CE4+ on mine with no problem.
3. No idea.
4. Mine's never been dropped. I generally don't drop things though.
5. I use both.
6. Haven't had mine too long so...eh. Dunno.
7. Get the Stainless Steel. I've seen reports of the Chrome/Black Chrome finish wearing off in pretty short order.

1. - Reply: Really no issues with the Lambo and vivi novas I've read nothing but complains about people saying the spring loaded center pin gets stuck in the bottom hole of the vivi and cuts off its air flow

7. - Reply: Yea I planned on Stainless Steel I'm not a huge fan of gunmetal.

1. My vivi nova works fine, little tight but that is the vivi nova itself.

2. I haven't tried but heard kanger t2s wont work but there are threads down there

3. My .9 ohm coil won't work on it, says low ohms. If you get a rebuildable I suggest the aga-t, same diameter and same finish and has the lines around it like the vamo, looks good on it.

4. I've brought it to work quite a few times and its pretty good, scratches kinda easily because of the chrome coat but what ever.

5. I use efest v2 which are button top, I use both 18350 and 18650, 18350 looks really good, isn't too tall, 18650 and its very tall and weighty but lasts for a long time.

6. I gotta press my up button a little harder but not noticeable, every now and again it won't register but idc it was 40 bucks

7. I'm having trouble cleaning the drip well, i bring it to work sometimes so there's dirt in it, can't really get it out. In 18650 mod it is really really tall, and 18350 mode it is as tall as my silver bullet which is an 18650 mod. The screen cover sticks out ever so slightly and is free moving, but seems very durable.

you gottta make sure it is in the no2 mode i think someone correct me, hold down the plus or minus button for like ever till you get to an option of 1 or 2, choose 2 it's rms setting, don't worry about it, more accurate. Mine came in that mode but idk. I personally vape at 8.5 watts. Basically with watts you just find what you want and leave it, it figures out the volts to ohms for you. Hold the minus button for your battery charge and hold the plus button to check ohms(good when making coils, if you have a short it might be really low or say 9.9).

The main reason why I like it personally is because it looks good, it vapes well, and it is sooooo simple. And cheap. Go to desertvapes, they got it for 40 bucks

No airflow issues for me.
Kanger T3 will not fit. The opening is too small for it.
As long as you don't go too low on ohms there's no problems with rbas.
I don't drop things. I've been using mine for several months with no problems.
I use both button top and flat top 18350s and 18650s without any issues.
I too would recommend the SS as the chrome scratches and wears quick.
