Ok, I dont' know that I would recommend any kind of inhalation for somebody with a collapsed lung...however...I will advise on what I think about the vaporkings. I am assuming these are what people call kr808s. If so, I can say that I have been using them for a couple of weeks and greatly prefer them to 801s, 901s, and 103s...the only others I have tried. I am a menthol lover for a few reasons. First I used to smoke menthols whenever I could. Secondly, even if an atomizer is malfunctioning, you get a nice kick of menthol because the flavor is so strong you taste it regardless of whether an atomizer is weak or strong. I also think it's great for atomizers (the part that makes the vapor) that have a bad flavor (from being misused or from being aged). So, that being said...I think that you have made a wonderful decision on a first device. I quit smoking over a year ago and actually quit vaping shortly after...picked it back to show it to somebody and decided to use it to curb my appetite. I know it's not the intended use, but I've lost over 50 pounds...so if it's working, I'll keep using it.

The only thing that I would say may be a mistake is this. You got auto batteries. With your collapsed lung I would fear that trying to inhale strong enough to set the battery off might be obnoxious. My first e-cig was an Njoy npro with auto battery and I felt like I had to collapse a lung just to get it to vape! So, I would say that if you get it and find it annoying to take a drag on it, buy manual batteries and sell off the autos to somebody who could use them. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying that with your condition you may not get it to work good enough to keep you off of your other nicotine products.

If I'm correct and this is a 2-piece model using enclosed cartomizers (atomizers/cartridge combined) it could last you a day or even just a few hours. You can refill them by plenty of methods. You can take the a rubber tip from the ends (the part that covers/protects them) and fill it with liquid of your choice and slowly push the cartomizer into it forcing liquid back inside the cartomizer to refill it and use it again and again and again (this is referred to as the ccfm method [carto condom filling method]). You can also stick something small and pointy into the mouthpiece and pry the mouthpiece out, remove a silicone ring and drip into it or use a syringe with a blunt needle to fill it. OR...you could do my new favorite thing and remove the white mouthpiece, remove the ring, and stick a 901 cartridge tip on it. It extends it but makes it easier to refill and I get them to last 7-14 days by doing this (refilling them at least 10 times a day as I'm a chain vaper and ONLY have one out at a time). I hope that this was helpful to you. If I was not clear on anything, feel free to PM me.

Actually, from looking at another post, it looks to me like you got a 510 model from vaporkings.com. No worries, it's a fine model, perhaps not as 'easy' to use as the KR808 (Vapor King model) from vapor4life.com. I would suggest you start here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ng-you-ever-wanted-know-about-your-510-a.html to learn more about this model. The carts are refillable with 'e-juice', or nicotine liquid and is available from many vendors here in lots of flavors and strengths. A new (or freshly filled) cart won't last a long time before needing to be refilled, but the exact time depends on how hard you hit it, and how often. A fair estimate would be in the ballpark of 6-10 cigarettes worth, but most people find that they vape much more than they smoked.

I hope you find this helpful, and feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.

Best of luck to you, and welcome to the community!
