hay mooch do u know anything about the purple LGABF1L1865 30A and the pink samsung ICR18650-26H... i've been using the LG's for a little while they seam to perform well and decent life but i'm just looking for professional opinion

The F1 is a 3350mAh battery that, I think, is 10A rated. It cannot be over 10A though.
    The 26H is a 5.2A (around there) 2600mAh battery.

If I use a 0.12 ohm build on a dual parallel mech, I'm only pulling 17.5 amps off each battery (in a perfect world), right?

What I haven't factored in is the resistance of the batteries (brand new HG2s).
Does that even matter when the batteries aren't stacked?

What is the lowest ohm load you can apply to parallel HG2s?

I've been vaping for a while but never had a mech. I want one for the amperage but I'd like to be as safe as possible.

The only reason I'm asking you instead of just anywhere is because all the research I've done is inconclusive. The only real conclusion I've come to is vapers collectively don't know jack about electricity.

Run the ohm's law equation to get the total current and then divide by two. This gets you the theoretical current per battery but the current sharng isn't perfect so assume the current can be 15% higher for any battery.

The battery's resistance is about 0.021-0.024 ohms when new, at room tenperature. It goes up as the battery ages and down as the battery gets warm. But if you're taking this into account you should take into account the positive and negative connection resistances, mod body resistance, atty body resistance, and coil connection resistance too. Not really needed though as all those end up adding a safety margin. :)

Lowest build resistance for dual HG2's? It's up to you for the way you vape and the degree of risk you want to take. I recommend staying under 25A/battery though.

I thought you and sawlight had a coversation leading to this thread...

If I had to answer, it's because you have knowledge that's harder to come by.
If I can Google something, I will (and have) but sometimes you're getting opinions instead of facts.

    EDIT:
Thank you, that is what I thought.

This is a quote from another forum that messed me up:

"Parallel you don't double the amps, you take full amp of the first battery then only add 1/2 of the other/others.

That's 40a, so you'd need at least a triple parallel mod for 20a batteries or a dual parallel with LG 30a hb2 batteries."

(I asked where the power went)

"It's with any batteries in parallel, you loose the amps, figure 1/2 for the additional batteries. I used to think you doubled it until I read a post from Mooch and also talked to an electrician.

Look it up if you're still skeptical. "

Then I Google'd my .... off for an hour and here we are.

Thanks for the response. You covered everything.

I edited my post. It was directed to sawlight :)

    @sawlight, I have a question...
How did I get volunteered to answer questions? :)
Did we talk about this and I forgot?
No, this was all on me, I'll take responsibility for it!
I figured it was just easier for everyone, including you, to have a dumping ground of sorts, for questions we don't, or can't, normally find answers for.
As I volunteered you, I'll gladly have this deleted if you wish? I just assumed, yes, I know, I know, it might be easier than running all over the forum answering @Mooch all the time!
But I have a plan, not yet set in motion, to make it up to you! Something better than the Boss 3000 even, maybe.
