I am trying for the first time to clean some of my clearomizers. The ones I am questioning are the kind you can see the long wicks and only unscrew off the top. You can't take apart the rest as far as I can tell. I think they are a stardust type. If it matters, they say LB sailebao.
All the videos I have watched and instructions I have read have left some questions.
1) I see the glow inside the tube but it is too far away to see clearly. I did the burn a few more times after seeing the orange glow and the smoke is still coming out strong. Do I keep burn spurts until the smoke goes away? I experimented with one and after 10 more 5 second burns it is still smoking strong. Am I wrecking something?
2) Do I have to wait until the whole thing is dry before I do the dry burning? In above example I shook out and just waited 15 minutes before the burn. It is definitely smoke that is still coming out in the above problem not vapor.
3) If 2 is No, then do I have to wait until the condensation is gone and the wicks are dry before adding e-liquid? What would be the effect if I didn't wait? Does the water mix with the e-liquid and I could just wait a few minutes or shake it?
4) Do some flavors require cleaning every day? My current all-day-vape is chocolate mint. It is pretty brown. After topping of the tank - probably 4 or so complete fills worth - it starts getting a burnt or off taste so I grab a new one. I try to swap for a while to another flavor and come back. Sometimes the first few draws taste better then it goes back to that bad taste.
I am planning on moving to better tanks, batteries, etc and maybe into rebuilding because I am getting pickier about how everything tastes but for now until I decide I am just going to use what I have since it is easy.
I appreciate any help with this.
