Well, no matter... there are GG fans there (I've gotten into a few scraps defending my personal PV tastes ), and it's certainly not the cesspit of roving wolves you make it out to be.

You're right, no one ever talks badly about the device itself... it's always cost, or something personal with Imeo... which is why I don't care, and still love my GGTS

No one had real issues with me. Some people are just crazy. Do you remember e.g. Breakfast or Tracking DrivingMouse? They start beating me WITHOUT ANY REASON. Especially the TDM had send a mail to a friend here saying that he was proud that he started the ....y storm about me. He had earned a GG from me and then suddenly he started saying the worse about me. Crazy people.

It's typical. Some people are just so miserable, the only thing they can do to take their mind off it, is to try and make others miserable. They just aren't smart enough to know how to pull themselves up out of the pit they have sunken in to and dwell in. Hence, they try to pull others down into the same pit with them. They will never change. Let them drown in their misery and ignorance...In the mean time....I'm having a nice relaxing Halo Torque vape with huge plooms of vapor on my GGTS....the best PV made in the universe!...........JB

Well to be honest I've owned just about every PV mod on the market I think... I'm sure there are some that I've missed but anyway it's been a lot! IMO there are few that compare to the build quality of the GG line but most don't compete with the looks or even come close. The biggest thing about the GG line to me is that there is a GG for everyone. There are so many models that offer a variety of different sizes, battery configurations, and atomizer configurations that anybody's needs can be met. As for the price yeah it's high. But what would you expect if you were buying something that you don't have to toss in the trash in 3 months due to malfunction or failure. Plus it's fully upgradeable and Imeo is constantly trying to improve things. And I can't even begin with the customer service that you get with the GG line. WOW!!! Ok enough said for one little rant.... hehehe

That is the truest statement I have heard. I just got my GGTS # 397 today and it doesnt even compare to anything else out there. This was the best $200 I have ever spent.

I saw a link to this in another forum and felt the need to clarify a few things as a person that nobody in their right mind could consider a relevant source of concentrated bias.

There was a day on these here forums when nobody in their right mind did NOT lust after the pristine sexy love that was the dual CR2 mod known as the GG Grant. For quite some time, it was not only THE king of the hill, the original design was so faithful to the kinds of tactile joys you can only get from those things immediately familiar that it's STILL a fantastic mod to showcase, and brag about, and still would constitute a crown jewel in someone's device collection. (inhaling air....)

That button. That button that stays the same in all the right ways through all the changes, but just keeps getting better. The unique placement of it that makes you feel like Ian Anderson playing some magical flute that gives you nicotine. I LOVE that button, as do the rest of you posting in here. And...

The Majesty that was the GGT. The mod I wish I'd never given away because it was timeless. Every friggin battery fit it. In nano it was one of the cutest things in all reality. Set up high volt, with that razor sensitive button, it wasn't the slimmest kid on the block, but it made up for it with supreme versatility.

So along comes the LR revolution. And it's here. And when I needed a great mod for 18650, the only thing available NOW was the GGTS. Thanks Vaporkings. And thanks for the fast shipping too. And whoever is responsible for the pristine condition it arrived in, polished mirror bright. And I mean, it's not like I put a note in there saying "Hey, this is Zofryer. I'm a pirate and stuff". I was just some guy. I got GGTS number 174, and it is brilliant. Let me tell you how brilliant.

I messed up. I accidentally ordered AW 18500's instead of 18650's. With any other mod I'd have been SCREWED. Any other mod for 18650 does not also do 18500. I quite dig 18500's. That got me trying out regular 18350's. So now I have an awesome looking 18350 mod. Definitely the sexiest one you can own. I get 12 hours out of it with a 901 LR atomizer. Hits awersome. Very tiny. Perfect button.

I LOVE dedicated mods. It's all about the battery if you think about it. So I start liking a type of battery, and I get a dedicated mod for it. I have my dedicated 18350 mod.

And this time, I'm not giving up my GG. I'm keeping this GGTS. If I had kept the GGT, I wouldn't have had to buy anything. The 18650 or 18500 would have worked. And when the universe changes again, and it's SQ34234 atomizers, and Lithium Pudding batteries (LiPd), I know my GGTS will work with them.

Simply put, Imeo makes great stuff. It's just not cheap in any sense of the word. Is it just a battery box? Sure. And a Ferrari is just a car. Faberge is just an egg. Mozart was just a piano player, and Divinci was a smartass.

Anyway I'm sorry if any of us offended you in any way. As for me I know that wasn't the intent and I love this forum because everyone is super friendly most if the time. Can we just mark this as someones bad day and get back to enjoying our respective mods please. I urge you to join us here and throw in any ideas you have to make the GG better as we will all benifit. I just don't want to tarnish the forum with negativity as we are all fighting a more important battle with government BS.

Thanks for the kind and level words wood - I do hang around here, just do not post much 'cause, well, 1300+ posts per day at ECF, what could I possibly add? Sadly, as of late, the only times I seem to feel compelled enough to post is when I see (what I consider to be) unwarrented genralizations of the other forum. We are all indeed in the same fight, yet one can not even mention the name of that place for fear of being infracted, or worse, banned from here. Doesn't seem like "the enemy of my enemy is a friend" applies here, does it? Oh well.

I'm one of those guys that can't make himself 'pull the trigger' on getting a GG, but also can't stop pausing at the window to stare at it. Go figure.

Right now most regular users are going to be satisfied with the "TornEgo" battery experience with a regular atomizer. The combination is more than sufficient for a typical smoker trying to find an alternative. If it's a heavier smoker, a lower resistance atomizer is probably sufficient. If it's an extremely heavy smoker, I dunno, maybe one of those butane gas powered things that make a loud rocket engine noise when you use it and would also be perfect for camping. Whatever.

Not all fun things are cheap. Compared to the horrible crap a lot of us started using (anyone remember the J118?), the would-be e-vaper today has a stunning selection of choices in the lower price range that will work very well for someone just looking for a product different than cigarettes. We did not.

For the heavy cigarette user (I was 2.5 pack a day) high voltage was the only thing that eventually worked. And it was not cheap, but it was cheaper than smoking. The argument was easy. This 200 dollar mod will be paid for in one month of not smoking.

And any mod made a year ago is going to have a better button than the TornEgo battery. Also will probably look nicer, and have better battery life. I DIG them. But at this point, after accidentally killing two with minor neglect, I use them like that little donut wheel they give you in cars now. They say "don't go over 50mph". I keep one in the pocket in case ninjas steal my GGTS. I use Low Resistance atomizers. There is absolutely zero difference in the vape between an 18350, and the tornego battery. However, I can get 18350's for five bucks each, and they last 12 hours. The tornegos are 25 a piece and last me about six.

And lets not forget that GG button. Good lord, just for the button alone it's worth it.
