Looks just like what I'd been hoping for, think I'll be getting one for my self for Christmas. Just have to decide if I should order the pt or wait for the pt kit for the protege. Or go whole hog and order both.
from the pics i saw before... there is a dummy battery, the button works the same... with a endcap on the wire...

hmmmm... so what if you have to replace the switch on the PT? Gotta send the whole thing back?
Hey CaSh, is that PT using the same tube as the Protege?
I remember mentioned there might be issues, converting the existing tube into a dedicated PT.
If, so, I think it's a smart move, because you now have essentially 3 products based on the one tube.(Protege, PT , ProtegePT)

I think it is, i am pretty sure he has said that before, though i couldn't find the thread.

Does the PT just plug into a computer or can you also plug it into an electrical outlet? What voltage does it vape at?

I assume if you have an outlet plug with the USB adaptor you would be able to plug it in to the wall.
Most of the PT's that I own will not run on the usb wall adapter.Those adapters only supply .5 amps of pressure and this is not enough.There are adapters that supply 1 or more amps and these work well.Picked one up at amazon for less than 10.00 for my girlfreinds mom.
Yes, you just need one with enough juice, i think 2 amp is preferable, although less will work. You will want AT LEAST 1. They vape at whatever is output, although, you will want to stick with 5v. The PS PT will take whatever is thrown at it, its not a regulated PT, or an adapter that just uses the USB outlet power to charge its battery, and the battery to power the atty. ITs a straight and true PT.
5v, and 4.3v underload.... meaning with the button depressed it will give you 4.3v of vaping awesomeness!!!!!

O MAN now I need another pass thru... I may just wait till the USB adaptor for the Protege comes out. As Walrus stated I would like to be able to replace my own switch if need be....
