Quick question about dripping (RDA)

I started with a Limitless RDTA+ and I have enjoyed it. Along with this Peerless I got in the mail I also received an Aromamizer RDTA+ (30mm) that I have not done anything with yet. So far I am enjoying this RDA and it seems as though it probably has enough capacity for short drives, getting behind the wheel is my trigger to chain vape.
I think I have that down, though I don't do complex (Clapton) builds yet and not sure I will, old eyes and hands sometimes fail to cooperate. Running dual SS 24g spaced coils right now (6wraps, 6mmID) at 60w and 420 degrees.
Of course it is helping. After that, anytime I rewick or build a new coil. I leave the top cap off until AFTER I am sure I have primed the wick. =)
About TC.. yup works just fine.
Better than getting a dry hit in the middle of a puff.
I'm paranoid about that, so TC for me unless I'm using my old Khantal claptons, but I flood the thing like crazy.
But with time, you get to the point that you can taste and even feel it in the vapor when your wick is getting dry before it hits.
I also have some RDAs that I can flood my deck without fear of leakage as the airflow is on top. The coils are swimming in liquid in those times.
Better than getting a dry hit in the middle of a puff.
I'm paranoid about that, so TC for me unless I'm using my old Khantal claptons, but I flood the thing like crazy.

It sure does. I've been trying different builds, and for a while there was back to wattage mode because some 22g coils kicked me out, but I'm back on it now.

Might want to look into deep well RDA's. Magma, Origen and Snapdragon, their tweeners between RDTA's and RDA's. Depending on your setup and chaining or not, half to an hour would not be unheard of.
Thanks! This peerless has a pretty deep well, at least a ml I think, although with my current build I can't see it so it'd be difficult to fill it completely. It will take me a while to get as comfortable with this thing as I am my RDTA, and when I do I still have an Aromamizer waiting to start the whole process over again.
I had to buy the 30mm Aromamizer, my Limitless Lux just will not stop complaining about these tiny atomizers....plus I figured that way I have at least a decent representation of all 3 (tank, rda, rdta).
If you want to drip and drive, this is the best thing since sliced bread.

Two quick pumps and your RDA is fully loaded.
I haven't tried SS in a dripper, but when I first started using drippers, I had tried both Ti and Ni using TC. The problem with Ti and Ni is you can't dry burn the coils, so once the coil gets all gummed up with caramelized juice, you have to replace coils. Basically I was changing coils on a daily to two days basis, essentially whenever I rewicked. With kanthal, once the coil gets gummed up, I pull the wicks dry burn them clean and rewick. I have had kanthal coils that literally lasted me months and the only reason why I changed them was because I got bored and wanted to put a different type of coil in (i.e. Clapton for a "normal" coil).About TC.. yup works just fine.

my ss coils (even claptons) last me months vaping diy juice (no sweeteners) in tc mode. I usually change them after 3 dry burns (or whenever they don't burn completely clean) which can be 3 - 6 months with so many mods in daily rotation. I would go bonkers changing wicks multiple times per week. I use rayon and vape 100 - 200 ml (1 - 2 months per topper) per wick before I dry burn and rewick.

May as well just get an RDTA and then you can stop pretending that you are dripping.

And I agree... the whole drip and drive thing needs to stop, it's a distraction while driving... either get a tank for when driving, a squonker or just deal without vaping during the trip. Those that do D&D don't get that this is going to lead to vaping ending up being altogether banned in cars (at least for drivers).
Don't worry, I would never drip and drive, I would pull over just like I do if my phone beeped.

Finally got around to building my Aromamizer RDTA+ and I am extremely pleased with it. Did a super simple but big single coil, spaced 316l 6 wraps, 6mm. Started up slow at 30w to verify my wicking and am surprised at the performance with so little power. I believe I prefer a cooler vape and the distance from coils to mouth helps I think. If this thing doesn't start dumping liquid from every orifice it probably will become my new baby.
Highly likely I will revisit drippers again when I start mixing.
