In theory yes. In reality you have to get into OHMS law. Google Ohms law calculator.
It all depends on the resistance of the ATTY and also the amp draw on the battery. I know I just made it harder. It's kinda hard for me to explain. I know someone will come to the rescue though. My head hurts from thinking.

yes it will last longer. The watts will also be lower too though. If you're vaping on it & find you have to take a really long drag to feel like you're getting a good hit you might want to keep it at the higher volt. In the end, if you're holding the button down longer then you're still using about as much of the battery as you would be at the higher voltage with a shorter hit. You'll just have to test it out & see what you think.

This ^^^. Obviously also the more hits you take per day count too.

The battery has a fixed amount of current it can deliver before becoming discharged(mah). When you turn down the volts, less current will flow through the coil. Since the battery is flowing less current through the coil, the charge will last longer.

That is about as simple as that question can be answered. Clear as mud?:confused:

Welcome to the forum!

Your best bet for bat life is a higher resistance coil at higher power nearly the same end result of vapor. On my zmax if I vape a 3.2 ohm coil at 10 watts my battery lasts all day, if its a 1.7 ohm coil at 10 watts it lasts half a day. Both set ups vape essentially the same.

Refer to this chart to match voltage wattage amps and ohms.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...xZLVd5aDkwUEJEZXc&f=true&noheader=false&gid=1

You are vaping 1.5 ohm at 10.6 watts 2.67 amps. If you vape A 2.1 ohm coil at 4.7 its 10.5 watts but only 2.24 amps.

It makes a big difference in battery life

In comparison a 1.5 at 3.5 is 2.33 amps , still running the battery down faster but with only 8watts.

In short yes lower power will last longer because your reducing the amp load on the battery. .. 2-2.3 ohms will perform well and provide longest battery life at 10w
