quick question on pt2 mini base for evod glass for new vaper

Hey all thanks in advance for any help i get. Im new to vaping. Been analog free now for almost a month thanks to vaping. Anyhow i read somewhere i can use a pt2 mini base on evod glass so i can use single coils on my evod glass. My question is do i need both the upper and lower base or just the upper or just the lower. After a lot of reading i went to order the base and found that there is an upper and lower so im not sure what i need. Thanks again

Nevermind i think only the lower base is needed. Seems the upper base simply holds the lower base on.
