Quick question. RDA Expert please.

Alright so I'm an experienced builder. I've got a patriot that I build around 0.35-0.45 ohm which is my sweet spot.
I plan on getting an igo w3 or igo w6 soon just for an at home toy.
I know how resistances work with single, dual, and quad but how would a dual and quad coil compare to each other if built at the same resistances?

In my experience I have built both the IgoW and the IgoW3 to the same resistance with dual and quad coils ex-
IgoW dual coil built to .32 and the IgoW3 quad coil built to .32 as well. I preferred the dual coil myself but did notice the quad coil KILLED my battery more. Now I have done tinkering and swapped them out (W3 with dual coil and W with quad) felt the same way about it. For me quads are fun to build but in a practical sense, I always prefer dual coils. Just my

I highly encourage you to grab one and have some fun! I have not built on a W6 but can tell you the W3 can be challenging to build with and in comparison the W6 has that handy "T" center post (like the Helios) which is a dream for quad coils. Thinking of picking up one also

I might still get to play with it. If anything I can still use it for duals. I already go through batteries like no other with my duals lol. Thank you for replying with your experiences.

I'd have to agree with this. I've done quads on my W3 and Helios. Quads are fun to build, watch work and show off from a "hey! look how many coils I can jam in here" standpoint, but I've never found them to be "better" than duals for flavor.
Not that I wouldn't encourage you to have fun with quad, hexagon, decagon... what ever blows yer' skirt up coil layouts - but being more of a practical flavor lover than cloud chaser... for everyday use, I'll stick with duals.

I also forgot to mention- with the W3, dual coils can be challenging. For the fact that the center post holes don't line up well for dual coils. The are kind of off set to allow for easier access when building quads.
