quickie coil question

Dumb question of the day. Does the resistance wire go in the middle or does the non resistance wire go in the middle.

So is it R NR R or NR R NR? Cant believe Ive made two coils and cant remember.

Thanks C8h......... its been a week since I made a coil and didnt want to do it backwards. It helps a lot since I need a coil now.
