Many of us here are smoke-free now for many months thanks to ecigs. I was wondering have any of you set a date to quit ecigs and be completely nicotine free or do you plan on smoking ecigs permanently. I, honestly have not thought much about it. I would like to be completely nic-free one day but not anytime soon. I would really like to hear your thoughts.

You need to want to quit it all together, not setting some date... If I don't want to quit I'll never quit with "finish" date set or without. Same was for transition to vaping. It only worked because it was enjoyable and I wanted to work it for me.
Not thinking about nicotine when I vape, my concerns are about flavors all the time. I think if somebody sent me 0 nic juice and marked it as 18mg I wouldn't even notice...

I smoked because I enjoyed it, and because it was the only thing that helped my chronic migraines (prescriptions just knocked me out, but when I woke up I still had the migraine). While e-cigs don't help as much with the migraines, they do help more than anything besides cigs. Plus, I really enjoy vaping. So, I have no plans to quit or decrease my nicotine, but we'll see how things go. As of right now, I think I could happily vape until I die.

Same here. The nic levels aren't all that noticeable anymore for me, as far as reducing goes. I'll hit a 12 mg nic juice all day long, sometimes a 6, if a friend's got something I can bum, but I usually order in 18 mg nic. I don't feel like there's a difference, if any, among the liquids. If we go to 24 mg, though, then I can feel it.

I have too much fun vaping, even if I'm vaping a 0 nig liquid...blowing huge clouds of vapor is just too darn entertaining :vapor:

I used to say that I would be a smoker until I died. I'm not a smoker anymore <surprise!>
I'm slowly dropping my nic levels because my body is letting me know that higher nic is getting harsh.
I'm pretty sure that even if I do get down to zero, I will continue to vape. I have this addiction to the habit of hand to mouth.....

I plan on dropping to 0 nic to see what it does to me. Nicotine is shown to enhance memory, concentration, and athletic performance, so if I notice 0nic causing me issues on any of those fronts I will happily go back to some amount of nic in my juice. I drink coffee for the same reasons (well, those plus the fact that it tastes like happy)

Not even going to think about it until I've had six months switched. Then maybe. Maybe.

Agreed. Six months is my initial goal.

I will begin to step down the nic more next order. Currently down to 12-18 pc. Better than the Black and Milds at 100-200mg per smoke!

I will revisit the subject matter when zero nic is reached - may jones, may not. We'll see.

May you NEVER jones!

VAPE ON!!!

I began vaping simply to continue my 50 year "hand-to-mouth, exhale visible plumes, get a little nicotine" habit -- but without the mess, smell, expense, additives, and sheer inconvenience of analog cigs.

Never intended to stop smoking. Switched completely to vaping, and never intend to stop vaping. I enjoy this much more than I did analogs.

Using Ego Twists with Vision 3 Clearomizers, and ProVari with IBTanked tanks and prepunched cartomizers. AliceInVapeland scrumptious flavored e-juices. And an assortment of pretty glass tips from various vendors. A new hobby... wooo!! :)
