Hey guys so I've dropped my addiction to cigarettes and nicotine about 2 months ago and looks like things are staying that way as I'm finding days go by without me even remembering I was a smoker (not to say it's not a noble struggle at times).

I used an e-cigarette for around 6 months and although I didn't have the strength to completely stay away from cigarettes it was pivotal in changing my relationship to the addiction, especially going weeks with 1-2cigarettes a day compared to 2.5packs.

What really annoys me is that I feel like I'm missing out on this whole sub-culture of vaping. I still have a wide range of e-liquids I didn't even sample and more coming out. Most frustrating of all is I'm seeing e-cigarettes making a huge boom in my city and everywhere I look I see folks with huge mods vaping away, when I was vaping I felt like I was the only one. I was praying I'd meet someone with a common interest and maybe begin to exchange parts and flavors but looks like I'll have to go without.

I don't feel any jealousy when I see someone with a cigarette but an e-cig?

Sounds like you are missing the social aspects of smoking/vaping... If it eats at you, maybe consider getting some 0 nic juice and a shiny mod or two. Then you'll have the social aspects... the hobby/gear elements... but still free of the nicotine addiction.

For years when I was a smoker... I noticed some non-smokers felt left out of the social circle enjoyed by all of us who headed outside to burn one a few times a day. I would always invite the non-smokers to join us... many times they did. No need friendliness couldn't be extended to all...

I think this is exactly why some of us started smoking in the first place. At least I know that's what it was for me. I very much started out as a social smoker, because I felt like I was missing out on something. When I made the decision to switch to vaping, my biggest concern was that I would miss the social aspect, so I made it a point not to vape indoors, even though I'm lucky enough to have a boss that allows it, to only do it on my "smoke breaks"

I still go outside to vape from time to time (not as much with the cold weather!) and I totally get why you would be jealous. I guess you could always pick up some 0 nic stuff, if it's really bugging you that much.
