You need to realize that nicotine is no more dangerous than caffeine. Are you going to go on caffeine/coffee/soda/tea/energy drink forums (if there are any) and badger them to give up their favorite stimulant? There is not much that nicotine can do to you that caffeine can't, because it is just a stimulant, and nicotine is found naturally in foods such as tomatoes and eggplant. Heck, caffeine is just as stimulating and we allow children to consume and become addicted to it. I don't see your point at all. E-cigs have allowed my mother and me to quit smoking very rapidly, and that means we are no longer ingesting toxins and carcinogenic substances from analogs. I'm ok with maintaining my nicotine addiction. We have nicotinic receptors in our bodies, so I propose that obviously we are meant to consume some nicotine. Sure, over-stimulation can cause undesirable problems, but research is out there stating that nicotine can help with depression and prevent Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. I'm not saying we should tell everyone to start taking more nicotine than they get from their eggplant parmesan, I'm just saying that it's not the worst chemical we could put in our bodies. That e-cigs can get people to stop inhaling the killers found in analogs is enough to applaud them, not blast them for being nicotine delivery devices. There is really no more danger in consuming nicotine than there is in consuming caffeine. In high quantities, both will kill you or at least mess with your vascular system. No one goes on and on and on about caffeine. Lighten up. If you don't consume caffeine, either, great for you. I'm glad you don't consume things you wish not to consume. That doesn't mean you should go around telling others what to do. We already have a nanny government. We're adults. We can make our own decisions, and we do so with information, not by listening to fear mongering.
