This was the first e cig I ever tried. Looking back, it still holds its own as the most realistic. This is the same size as a real cigarette, and the paper coating makes it feel very realistic. Combined with the squishy filter/cartomizer, it feels almost exactly like a real analog. It hits like a cigarette with a smooth throat kick, and the small atomizer does an incredible job of heating the vapor. Taste wise, the tobacco flavor tastes much like a Camel Light, while the menthol is, well, menthol-y. As a first electronic cigarette, this is a stellar product. That means its perfect.
Look and Feel
The ecig comes in a nice little flip top box, reminiscent of a Zippo. This by itself is a huge advantage over other disposables that do not include a carrying case. Again, the e cig itself has an amazing feel, like holding a real cigarette. The King is a half inch shorter than a standard electronic cigarette, and it is covered in a paper wrap over the plastic body so that it feels more realistic. The tip has a clear plastic wrap over it to keep it from getting wet in your mouth. The tip resembles a burnt cigarette and glows red to simulate smoking.
Performance
The ecig last as long as 2 packs. The battery is about 35% smaller than a standard 808 (Blog, V2, Volt) electronic cigarette battery, in order to stay as small and realistic as possible. This, of course, means that the battery life is on par with its competitors The atomizer is a woven tube with a silica wick through the middle wrapped in a soft cotton like material. The wick is again almost 35% smaller that a standard 808 or 510 (Blu, Volcano). So while they claim 2 packs (does vary depending on use) I can see any way it is capable of lasting that long.
