imfallen thanks for the info im more and more sure now that i simply burned my coil and a new one is needed even thou i still cant explain why it hits my throat only sometimes (Last night i vaped 2ml of liquid in about 40min and didnt feel a single burn). Still new coil is ordered and i should have it by tomorrow. Also i even realized how i might have destroyed my coil. During work i keep my mod in my pants pocket and my work involves me squatting sometimes and during that squat im guessing i could have been pressing the button with my gut for solid 30+ seconds more then once. Also keeping it in my pocket i have noticed dust, lint and other small junk accumulates in the coil. And another thing, while in my pocket the vape is usually in a horizontal position which if the tank is not full leaves half the coil (in a horizontal way) dry. For too long of a period gues the cotton itself could get dry as well which may result in a bad burn taste if i vape from it without leaving it in a vertical position for some time.
Anyway leaving my newbish thoughts behind thanks to all for the information and help. I will update again after i try the brand new coil.

p.s. Sorry for bad English grammar.

Yup, that sounds quite plausible.. (your mod should have a 10 seconds max tire-out, but that's still not going to help)

So yes, lock your mod when you pocket it for any length of time.

Note that factory cartridge coils can also be hit and miss, with some duds at time (bad performance even if new).

And yes, lint and such can get into the mouthpiece and can cause bad issues.

When I "pocket" my mod, I always only use my back pocket and if I worry about triggering it, I make sure that I lock it. But my usual mod (TC100W) has an actual mechanical lock for the trigger, something that I really believe that all mods should have.

For having it horizontal, actually it should not be a worry at all, that's how wicks work, it pulls the liquid and hold it, of course this may depend on some tanks, as they may leak. I recommend closing the airflow and liquid flow just in case.

Should you be worried about your coil getting dry, you can easily re-prime it by closing the airflow and doing a couple of gentle/medium pulls on it.

One thing you can do is not care about the fashion police and get a hip-pouch (or fanny pack, whatever they call them) for your mod (and extra stuff too).

Lock your mod when you're not using it, and before you put it in pockets etc.

I try but i forget a lot of the times.

Should you be worried about your coil getting dry, you can easily re-prime it by closing the airflow and doing a couple of gentle/medium pulls on it.

Now i am doing this every time before i inhale :D . Paranoia from burn throat hit is strong.

And yes, lint and such can get into the mouthpiece and can cause bad issues.

Wish they invented something like pencil caps for this issue.

Quick update. My ccell came but unfortunately it was 0.6ohm for MTL. Seems like my country's market doesn't sell 0.5ohm of these. Shame really. Now i will have to get a new tank and coils for it. Quite the annoying experience for a beginner.
hmm.. unless it's a different design and the airflow is different, the OHMs just means that you need to adjust you mod a bit for them... Personally, I've tried various cartridges (various tanks, brands, etc.) and never saw that much of a difference for things like the slightly different OHMs...

on the 0.6 one it says 8-13w and on the 0.5 one it says 20-35w so im a little afraid to try this with higher wats for DTL vapor.

What metal type are they.

But while the wattage might be lower, the production might be close to the same, just start low and increase a bit at a time. As long as the wicking is good and the airflow the same, you should end up able to get a similar experience.

You have to remember that these coils are used in over a dozen type of tanks...

They are stainless steel. I just tried to DTL and it doesnt feel good its a lot harder to inhale and it is not pleasant in general. Good news is i think i may have found a way to get the coils i need.
Good to hear.. I know that the SS coils are touch and go, but I moved to rebuilding them before the SS were out (from the old days of yore when it as either khantal, NI or TI).

So I wonder if the cartridges are different for the airflow then...?

Update. Managed to get my hands on the exact coils i need. The difference is HUGE! Now i know what a burned coil tastes like and i know how to prolong its life. Thanks to all for the helpful information.
Delicious isn't it?.. hehehe...

But yeah, if you can go towards using temperature control, it would prevent that from happening ever again.

Glad that it's all good!
