This frickin', frackin' migraine won't leave! It's chained itself to the base of my brain stem while chanting, "Hell no, I won't go!"

if you go find a dark, quiet room and lie down with a cool cloth over your entire face and try breathing evenly and slowly, it will lessen some. Computer screen is going to make it worse, dear.
Unfortunately mine hang on regardless. Chronic migraine sufferer here. If I laid down with a cool washcloth and dark room for every one I would never get anything done. Sigh. It just IS that I have a migraine. My first one lasted 17 months. That was fun.
My neurologist is so exhausted by my visits that he just keeps throwing pills at me. I told him, "YOU'RE exhausted?! I'M the one who can't sleep!" LOL, he's such a baby! Hahaha!
I've learned to set all my light-emitting devices to their lowest settings and have battery operated candles for a relaxing glow instead of regular light, with smooth jazz on my stereo...I live in a perpetual state of dusk. It's nice, actually.

Yes, they have timers. The first LED candles I got didn't, and I kept forgetting about them and running the batteries dead. These are much better...and they were gifts, so even better!

That is actually a pic I found on the internet, LOL, but mine are the exact same candles.
I love natural candles more than the LED kind, but they are fire and I have a tendency to leave them unattended...so LED it is! And they don't burn down! NOR can they burn down the building! LOL
Well that IS a plus about LED!
I had some LED light outside for awhile. They sort of fell apart after a few years. I should get some more.

Migraines - All I will say no matter how long it last . . . ICE ! ! !
Either - A Home made "Ice Pack" or the reusable Gel Packs you can get at most drug stores (I have 10 of them that go into rotation) . . . Some of them even come with a "Sock" that has elastic and Velcro that holds them on your head very well:
