mine should arrive today with any luck. looking forward to getting it going!

love this; "sittn in the bathroom at work vapin it right now"

That's what I call it too when I'm in the bathroom-WORK! Kidding!

I'm one of the fortunate ones to be able to run a passthrough or PV in my office all day.
When my fellow co-workers pass by and see a cloud, they always giggle.

definately helps with the normal stress for sure!!

Hmmm, i contacted them the other night and they told me it didnt ship even tho i got a shipping notification on the 9th, said they would contact me today and let me know if it shipped yet, but havent heard anything... Tracking it still just says electronic shipping notification so i guess it has not shipped.

I thought I remembered reading on the site that these where in stock with no wait time...

To those of you who have one, how long did it take to receive?

I recently made a wick out of 400 stainless mesh but have yet to try it yet. In theory it should work just fine... I'm waiting for the current wick and coil set up to degrade before I try it.

That's what I thought you were going to say but wanted to double check. I run both types in mine. Prefer the SS mesh over any of it.

Thanks for the mesh info hairball!

How are you running the mesh?

Did you make an arch with it using both holes or are you just running it in one hole and leaving the other open?

Curious!

Thanks in advance

Got my v2 RAtank today and must say, it really looks great on a black bolt...perfect match...

I tried the suplied wick with 32awg kanthal i have, 5 wraps at 1.9ohm...just couldnt get it to wick enough, coil would light up after a couple seconds and dry burn, i primed the wick, tried holding upside down etc...

rebuilt with a ss 400 mesh, 6 wraps at 2.2ohm, much better, wicks great, great, i mean GREAT flavor, but very little vapor, has anyone tried blocking the air tube and instead using an air hole in the cap?

WOW that looks sweet on your Bolt, I have to take a trip to my local vape shop and check one out.
My RA Tank came in yesterday and WOW, I like it but looks a bit funny on my prodigy V3, I also had to cut 2 slots "air holes" in the 510 connector on my prodigy, when screwed on it sealed the tank so I got no air flow, lol
I used the wick that came with it for now with 36ga 5 wraps "haven't tested ohms" it took a bit to wick good but its working great now "using 60/40 pg/vg"
The main reason I got the RA Tank is the air draw is from the base, I have an Ato-Miser and it leaks like crazy from the side air holes.
All in all, Vary happy with the RA Tank so far :)

Looks good! Looks like the leaning tower on my LT....LOL! Provari coming very soon.

Ok, so I'm using the wick AND wire provided with the tank and the vapor production after and one tank break in period of the wick is OUTSTANDING and I have to vape and vape and vape and vape to run the wick dry enough to get a burnt taste. Just as much vapor as my i06 almost. USE THE 36awg. Double your wick. Make sure you don't have any glowing coils when the wick is soaked. You have to eliminate those by tweaking the wick and coil. Make sure that the wire goes from the post DIRECTLY to the wick with no gap in between or else it will glow and taste burnt. I have 5 wraps and I'm getting 4.1 ohms and I'm running that at 5.7-6v. Going to do one less wrap next time. Trying to get around 3 ohm.

If you set it up like above with a some mesh wrapped in the middle and NOT touching the posts, just the coil, maybe it will be even better.

I'm honestly surprised at how this thing performs with the supplied wire and wick. It's a keeper for me.

It's probably around 4-4.2ohm. I have the same amount of wraps with the same awg and I'm getting 4.1. :)

. I wish I had a local vape place to try stuff out. I always thought the bolt would be huge but its pretty short and just a little wider than a provari. The width is the same as my RAtank so works out perfect. Crystalclearvaping.com has em for like 40$ with a battery and free shipping and you get discounts if u add extra batteries. Best deal I could find and it shipped fast.

ya I thought about doubling the wick but didn't. And I got 75feet of 32awg for a mini genesis and a hybrid apv I'm in coops for so am trying to get used to using it with stainless mesh wick.

After the bad results from first attempt with silica wick and. 32awg I rebuilt it with a ss mesh wick. It's done right ,no long hot legs, wick is u-shaped using both holes- no kinks. Flavor is great just not a lot of vapor , don't know, might try removing a loop of coil to bring ohms down to around 2-ish. I want to try the double silica and 36awg but really want to use ss mesh from here on out

Anyone else using ss mesh? What are your experiences?

well my local vape shop is about an hour away but well worth the trip, the owner is a really good guy "meet him last year at mistinthewoods MI BBQ" his price on the Bolt is comparable, I been wanting to try the 3.7V also or if anyone knows a good VV mod that will look good with this tank.
I been wanting to try the SS mesh also have any good links on ware to get?

This is a change for sure, keep finding myself wanting to drip, lol
It's also nice to grab my PV and not have liquid all over it or feeling like im directly dripping on my fingers, lol
after a few months using the Ato-miser it began to leak even more due to the cap expanding from heat.

anyway here is a pic of my setup for now till I find a better matching PV

Figured out why my ra wasnt making much vapor... After i coiled my stainless wick and checked ohms on my provari it read around 2 but one of the wraps must of been shorted because checked it again after i broke the coil in some and it was 2.6

I removed one wrap and now have 2 ohms and its doing pretty good on the bolt now. Not a ton of vapor but alot more. I think my wick is a little skinny and coil a hair loose on a couple of the wraps so i think a thicker rolled mesh wick and tighter coil might help. I might even try silica rolled in mesh or a single mesh wick thats not a u shape
