Oh, That is sweet. Here is a pic of that chair I redid awhile ago. It needs new padding because that old padding is lumpi but I replaced all but the last 6 in. at the top of the right rear leg. The old leg was rotted off at the half way point. I also had to make the left hand 13 of the center part where the head is. It was my first time carving wood.

Pink Floyd rocks. I have everyone of their albums. They are right now on the billboard chart in the 30's or 40's dark side of the moon is. On a re release. Just shows how relative that cd was even many years later.

Nice work! Is that all walnut? I've done some simple carving. On my website there's a couple pictures of the walnut bed I made for my daughter and son in law for a wedding present. I carved knots on that.

I do that nearly every day. One of my biggest expenses is restocking my first aid supplies.

5C, I can't tell if you are pulling my leg again or not but I'm gonna let yall see the serious side of Debi for a change. I love the internet because you can come to know people and care about them without visual bias to interfere. Big, small, black, white, purple...none of it matters. At our age (and most of are within about 10 years of each other) I have learned that trite as it sounds, beauty is within!

We banter here and have fun, we talk tech and help each other to help take some pressure off Mike so that he can enjoy the friendship here. You and I have had some more serious convos in PMs and you are a wonderful friend. I've told you this in private and now I'll say it here in public...I am blessed and grateful to have you and everyone else here in my life!

and true , you also at times get the exact opposite ( from experience ) But everybody that has joined the Notcigs forum has been very cool and helpful ( you take a lot of heat off of me !! )

Now I feel bad because that isn't me in that photo. I found that on google when I put old guys in the search box. I was going to put this guy up and then I saw that guy and put him down instead. Debbi you and I have PMed and stuff and are a wonderful friend. So is Mike and Mist and Fran and why don't I just say the whole notcig family. El Dee anyway I love all you people like my internet family and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and that when next year comes you all are financially sound if not wealthy.

Mike you are right that the opposite can be true about the persona someone portrays online. But it is very difficult for someone to NOT show their true self over a period of time. I've seen it happen in a bad way too, but not often.

I am possibly a sentimental old guy as I have tears whenever I view this, my GF gets embarrassed when we go to movies(I find something in every movie that makes me cry).
I am looking for the Imagine one now and have a feeling that I will be howling very soon.
Thanks for your response as I feel that us Buzz, etc. owners are real special people to me. I am such a wimp at times. I like to feel that I am a cool guy but the tears give me away.

I liked it. Grandpa Elliot is great. That street playing reminds me of my old days down at the Haight. Memories of days gone by.

Crying doesn't bother me. It's just the flip side of laughing and sometimes they do a duet. If I feel like getting emotional and shedding a tear then that's what I do.

I do it all the time(shed a tear), just watched the Imagine one(Howl). I watched a few others and will get through them all, such a beautiful concept by that brilliant sound engineer.
I love the :"Stand by me" one as it relates to us guys who hang out together on this forum. We may disagree but we all are together in the big picture
In the end no matter what happens, I love you all.
