Thought I'd have a go at making my own rebuildable dripper...

For some reason I made it ego style! As it's a dripper, I made a raised air hole so as to reduce leaking.

Wrapped it with cotton which I then unraveled an pushed up into the shroud. Been using it for a couple of days. It will take over 10 drops and it lasted the 20 minute drive home from work without the need for refilling.

So all in all, so far, pretty pleased with it!

Very nice work! If you ever make a 510 version, I'd be happy to beta-test it on my Prodigy, LOL!

Thanks! Probably going to make a few more ego style ones then do some 510s. Anyway, the ego style ones are basically 510s with extra material left on to make it look like an ego. No ego thread, just clearance. You in the UK?

You in the UK?
Nah, across the pond, a little to the south... Puerto Rico, to be exact. :/
How are the coil connections made? Posts with side screws, looks like?
Does the cone accept 510 drip tips? And finally, does the airflow come from the 510 connector, or is there a hole in the cone?
Sorry for the multitude of questions! I'm just kinda looking for something a bit more solid than my Phoenix (yet similarly sized), as I drop my mod occasionally (OK, often) and the atomizer is starting to fall apart on me!
If you have any suggestions for me as to what small solidly built, more or less Phoenix-sized dripping atty (hopefully not very expensive!) I could look into, I'd be very grateful!

The connections are made using split pins that are tapped with a 2mm thread through the hole, like this:

It's the best and easiest method I've come up with so far...

The air hole is fed from the 510 connector. The drip tip is from a load of cartridges I mistakenly bought ages ago, they're not standard drip tip size. I used them so as not to waste them!!!

Not really aware of any commercially made similar type drippers I'm afraid. I just fancied one so I made it!
