To answer the original question (this thread sure got side tracked), Rob machined down a RM2 for me and it's on my tumbled mini- Looks very good with a polished silver drip tip...vape is extra ordinary to say the least- Yes, it's a go! Works very very well and highly recommended. I posted a picture of it in the RM2 thread...in the pinned section of this sub forum.

Oh, an one more thing- I have a couple of hornets, but the RM2 on the mini beats the hornet hands down!! Better draw (more airy) for one which I like and more room to work with inside as well as the ceramic base keeps shorts at bay!! Cheaper too- a no brainer!!

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of my hornet -- too little room. The ERA knockoff was much better, especially with the home made juice hole at the very bottom. Until the negative post fell off :(

But I digress. ERA doesn't fit Mini anyway

Just saw your new post... must be fate. Just pick up a MP2 charger, it's adjustable between 3.7 volts and 3 volts. It'll charge up to 18350 size batteries, way to small for 18650's.

(Pietro didn't know this.)

Jack

It's all Jack's fault on the side tracking the thread old people will do that to ya and +1 on the MP2 I have both but prefer the MP2 I get mine off ebay for $13 w/free shipping :p

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy Tipped Reo

I received shipping notice today, Woohoo! Happy dance. Hemp, wire, juice, charged batts, and of course my trusty Mini are at the ready.

Thank you very much for the excellent service Rob!

Rob is a straight up awesome dude. I had the pleasure of shooting the shi t with him on the phone today for about 15 minutes. It's like ya barely know him but its like rapping with a friend. Oh, and He's a hell of a lot more humble than I would be if I made the device that has added many pleasurable years to all of our lives. Be thankful their called REOs not RAH's :)

where can i get hemp for my wicks ?

Bought mine from Amazon. Was directed to lovepedal by some other members here. I have the 1mm natural. Some prefer the 2mm. Guess it's a 30ga vs a 32ga kanthal A1 type of thing. Make sure you boil it a couple times first. I boil in distilled water btw.

Much better answer. Sorry I didn't think of that. I'd be more than happy to do the same, just let me know.

I have extra.....and Scott and I are practically neighbors. He just lives about 90 miles down the road from me.....besides, I owe him for giving me a "Doohickey"..... :) It's not my favorite wicking material....I just got some to try it. My favorite is still cotton....so I thought I'd give him enough to try before he made a "major" investment (of $3.00.) Ha.

A kind and generous non REOnaut (yet) is sending me some XC-116 1/16" ceramic rope to try. Looking very forward to trying it and will post my results. Since he (pdib) was so kind in his offer, I have sent him my backup grand and RM2 to try. Don't know who's more excited him or me! He is really into RBAs and has a lot of great posts in the rebuild able atomizer forum. He has started to stalk the mailman. Tomorrow should be a great day for him :)

Not that I need to ask, Russ, but please post your results on XC-116. I'm very curious about it, but haven't tried spending the money on it yet. It's kind of expensive for experiment purposes

Definitely will :). People are raving about the clean flavor that the ceramic yields. I an getting some 1/16". If I dig it, I will order some 1/32 for some micro action :)

Wonderful little present in the mail today. Fits the Mini v1 great! Thanks again for the modded mod Rob.

Wrapped up a quick little 1.8 ohm coil on some 1 mm hemp, and she is vaping great! My Mini has been in my pocket for over 2 years. This RBA is just the icing on the cake for my little workhorse. :vapor:

Notice the slight space between the Reo well and the atty? I put in a black 0-ring right on that spot and it covers up the space and because my Reo mini is silver and has a black button it all seems to work seamlessly! Yours with the black door and tip will even look better with the 0-ring there.

Good idea, thanks. The space is too large for just a single o-ring, but you got me thinking of different ways to do it. Multiple rings or ???? I'll figure something out, now that you basically just told me my REO is ugly....Thanks a lot.

Just kidding. I appreciate the thought and suggestion, I think it will definitely look even better once done.
