RBA -original or clone?

Hi all,
I am considering the Ehpro kayfun lite plus, the Russian 91, aqua clone and looking others.
Because the originals are more expensive (although Russian 91 price is steep for a clone), and hard to find originals.
Any suggestions out there? I am using Kanger mini pro and aerotak and small aspire tanks on MVP2 and Vamo v5.
I am not into cloudchasing, don't want to get into subohms and just want a good consistent vape that is pretty easy to build. My coil building thus far has been with Kanger miniPT, and works good using cotton wick.
Are the clones good, and if so which do you recommend, considering I would likely use with vamo or perhaps mvp2.

Also, when you clean these device first time to get oil out, is dish soap ok and do I have to remove the o-rings for washing?

why not buy clones? i just found a 1:1 CATs clone. theres no way im going to pay $120 for an authentic when i could buy a clone for $34...

HCigar 3.1 KFC probably the closest in quality to the real thing

got mine from Luxor Vapes very happy with it

I use the citrus "orange cleaner" ( degreaser) dish soap requires a couple of washings...

I have a Tobeco kayfun clone from Vape101, works great on my MVP......
I took it apart and soaked it over night in dish soap, no issues so far, been about 2 1/2 weeks.....( I think...heh )

From all the posts I have read the EHPro and Hcigar clones are good. Tobeco seems to be hit or miss. I have an R91 which works great. I just ordered one of these myself

If I can find the original and it's within my budget, I always go for the original. Otherwise, I'll get the clone. But if I really like it, I'll probably get the authentic when it's available.

A lot of people will say authentics are overpriced. And it may be true. But the true value of a device is whatever someone is willing to pay. For example, someone will pay $1 million for an authentic Picasso. I personally think it's splotches of paint and wouldn't pay $20 for it. So value is subjective.

I paid for an authentic Kayfun Lite Plus and feel I paid what I felt was the right amount. I also own an Omega clone because I couldn't find an original. Go figure, I love them both. When the Omega 1.5 or 2.0 comes out, I will get an authentic, budget allowing.

Just my own opinions.

I have 3 kayfun clones and all are great. Authentic is over rated and over priced.

I would think anything Hcigar would be fine. I have an authentic Kayfun, but I do have an Hcigar Omega dripper. When I wanted a clone that's the only brand I looked at, going by reviews I found here. And my Omega clone has been perfect!

With the clones I've found the hcigar 3.1's are the best I've used. The ephro lite plus has a tight draw for me, even after drilling out the airflow. I do have an authentic kebo russian 91% and it's the best....it's not a clone though, the business partners split and it is the version that came from the split. Good luck in choosing. Lotsa fun to be had.
