Am I likley to get much better flavor with a RBA though?

In my opinion, yes. I would suggest a kayfun. They are made for MM(Mech Mods) and have a tank.

Basically when you get into Mechanical Mod's. It has become a hobby. APV's are for the non enthusiasts who just want to vape with no fuss.

the crown is a decent RDA for cloud chasing... buddy uses one on his MVP 2.0... only problem he had was he had to slightly lift his center pin because It didn't connect to his mvp

For taste... I love my TOBH atty... my next RDA is going to be the Infinite CLT... which uses aspects from the TOBH, Stillare and Helios... Tobh deck and heat sink fins, Stillare Cyclops airflow slits and top cap... Helios positive block... looks amazing. The only problem I have with the TOBH is that if I take it with me in my pocket the top cap pops off all the time... and it scratches the patina on my stingray :(

You can use an RDA on a vv really well - let's say a Vamo and an Igo-L. Works great on my stuff. Similarly works great on an MVP v2. If you want more vapour use a high vg mix imho. :)

Yup. An APV(Advanced Personal Vaporizer) is more versatile. You can use anything on them. Unlike Mech's. I just like the look and feel of a MM better. And they are more dependable(less parts). And harder to break.

More in it for taste that vapor but I'll keep it in mind.
still not entirley sure if I should grab a VV or a Mechmod

You can do the same thing with a MM that you can do with an APV(vapewise). You just have to know what you are doing in order to to get what you want out of a MM. There is a larger learning curve with an MM. An APV is plug and vape basically. Less learning curve.

Don't forget that the fact that the MM has no chips to fry... but have you ever tried the iTaste VTR? Thing hits hard and feels like its impossible to break...

Nothing wrong with Mechs - my Megalodon was a beast! I just feel happier with APVs these days - more information to tweak the vape. I was lucky enough to get involved with testing the prototype of the Mako. A great device! This was all a long, long time ago. I like APVs now as they give me more info and are much safer to use casually. Nothing wrong with mechs but PLEASE use high drain batteries!
