Someone on instagram commented on the battery life, which yeah it can't be great, but for a on the go pocket friendly tank mod I really want it. Plus it's smaller then the ipv d2, which to me is just crazy.

It's a *lot* smaller than my IPV D3. Battery life is not awesome but I only use it when stealth is necessary. I need to get a Goblin mini for it. It is constructed very nicely.

Post-holes at the exact same height as the outside, non-removable juiwell wall? And why give me a deep juice well if I have to struggle to wick a coil this atty is designed to support?! I don't get this design. I really don't want to even build on it! I am sure it will get easier, but now it's just a well-made (and attractive) atty I don't want to mess with. Shame. Could've been nice. Not enough other aspects of this atty are thought-out enough for me to have to endure a build like this. This is basically a simple atty gone wonky.

First time building on it.
As far as I'm concerned the only way they could save this rda is coming out with a different top cap, unfortunately. A top cap with just top air flow, I wouldn't even care if it wasn't adjustable and it was just a one piece cap at this point.

Anyone here seen the new Hastur? Looks pretty good and I bet it will be inexpensive. I can't access the pics though....
It is just a shame what they did to this RDA... They release it with a squonk pin for it and it won't even drain at all... The reason for an RDA made for bottom feeders is to have it capable to drain completely when squonked because it doesn't need to hold excess liquid. Total fail in my squonking book, but I see it as a plus for the non-squonking crowd...

I've done at least 10 builds on my Aeolus Lite and it has yet to clip a wire - using both 26g and 24g wire.

Awesome! I primarily use 26 gauge, which is why I needed to ask. Generally, do you like the coils as close to the airflow as possible, or is there a happy medium a few MM below the airflow? I've found with my bottom airflow RDA's, I'm always trying to get the coils about 1.5-2mm above the airholes. Would this same concept apply?

Re: clipping wires

With the Hobo v3.1, the bottoms of the post holes are tapped. Why is this not standard? I mean, d'uh! If the post holes are hollow and you drive a screw though the wire, it's going to snap them unless the wire is more like a cable! (Particularly if the screws are beefy and the post holes are large.)

The NarDA is the best dripper I've tried. The airflow is open enough to lung hit but not so open that you lose flavor. It's incredibly well machined and I think it has a nice, clean, classy look. I think it looks even better with the Ultem top cap and drip tip.

The Hobo is the second best dripper I've tried. Actually, it's almost a tie. Kind of a 1A and 1B situation. The flavor from the Hobo is excellent but doesn't quite reach the NarDA. It's got more airflow for the times I want a bit more than the NarDA but doesn't sacrifice flavor. It's also easier to build on than the NarDA. I also like that there are drip caps for it cause I hate having to remove my drip tip or the top cap to drip.

Eff the M-Atty and the elitist BS associated with it. Would I give it a vape if I knew someone that owned one? Sure, I'd like to find out if t's worth the hype. Would I buy one? Absolutely not. I can get the Hobo or NarDA for under $100 and the M-Atty is, what? $130 or $140? No thanks.

ETA: Full disclosure - at one point I was trying to acquire an M-Atty but once I realized all the nonsense involved with it and the community around it I was turned off.

appreciate the feedback brother... i do have a narda right now and planning to get a hold of either the m-atty(if i can find one) or the hobo 3.1.... seems like the hobo will be more of a better choice...i'm just so curious whether the m-atty is hype up because the supply is so low or it's just that great that's why i raised that question....

I wanted an m-atty when I first saw it way back when, I just loved the looks, till I realized I had to sell my soul to get one. And if I'm honest here, it doesn't look all that special anyway, same old 3 post design, I do like the looks still but that doesn't matter anyway, imo it doesn't look like it's work what the price is.

I agree with @jhhollier except mine is reverse, I like the hobo 3.1 a tad more, only cause it's perfect for me, and my needs. But like he said it's basically neck and neck really. It comes to a point where I don't really get why I keep spending unnecessary money on inferior rda's it's pretty annoying.

Just my opinion but I think the maker of the M-Atty and those in the community fuel the hype. It's almost impossible to get in the group to buy one and it seems like the ones who already have 15 M-Attys buy up every new batch that comes out.
