Lmao!! Sorry. But at least you know that you got a winner coming soon. And screw this weather by the way, I'm sick of it already.

I hate winter weather. It was 50% of the reason I left Pittsburgh. We had a good 4" of snow fall yesterday then it turned into rain that washed it all away and this afternoon it turned back into snowfall. So now, there's a good 2" of ice under the new 2" of snow.

Times like this make me miss my Subaru. Also makes me wish I had just shipped it to my house and took the wrath from my wife lol. It's all good though as she claimed my mini volt yesterday.

Tell me about it, there's a good 2 foot out there already and more on the way. I can't even drive in this, I wish I had a subaru or a truck for this type of weather but unfortunately I have an Si and can't drive in anything over like 4 inches maybe more. My wife actually liked my Mini Volt which surprises me since I normally also get the "wrath" regardless lol she doesn't vape so she doesn't get any of it. It's funny, normally the women are the spenders and shoppers in life......not my relationship lol I'm the shopper and she barely spends any money at all.

I have a 4wd explorer if I need to get anything but my civic sedan even with all weather tires will also barely navigate a dusting.

My wife cuts coupons and refuses to buy anything unnecessary, and I go spend all the money on more tanks, bigger mods, more batteries, drippers, etc. "what's wrong with what you have now" comes up every delivery lol.

HAHAHA oh my God she sounds just like mine. Literally the other day when I got a BMI mini and the mini volt she goes, "Yup, just add it to the collection of the other 8 box mods you have"......great lol. Love the enthusiasm, thanks. Not much to come back with when those comments start flying.

could you run a single coil through the middle of the posts on the Solstice?
Yes you can, but you will have to have both air holes open if you just have it up front and not in the middle. Unfortunately it doesn't have that single coil cut out option, but I've ran it both ways with the air holes slightly closed and it was fine. That was on the hobo though which is essentially the same thing. I've only done 1 build so far on the solstice.

Got the first problem with my solstice rda. It's now leaking....from the 510. I HATE that even more then just regular leaking. It's a mistake in the insulator around the 510, when I first got it I noticed a slight gap around the edges but didn't think much of it cause the insulator up top was sealed tight. But what gets me is this is an amateur mistake imo. I say amateur cause this happened to me way back when when rda's were fairly new and it used to piss me off to no end. Now it's basically useless till I can get ahold of the owner and figure something out, cause guess what???! The 510 pin doesn't come out so it's not like I can even try and fix it, it's flat and not slotted like a flathead screw which REALLY pisses me off cause now begins a long and lengthy process of talking with someone and I'm sure I'm gonna have to send it away to get fixed or looked at since they can't just send me a insulator and I could fix it which would be cool and totally fine. Ugh.

End rant..

Yeah, I hate that as well. I got a Cigreen Holmes V2 when I first started rebuilding. It had nice airflow and great flavor but the damned thing leaked from the 510. It was cheap at least but it irritated me to no end because it actually performed very well until it started leaking.

Well now i know what to look out for when I finally get my paws on mine. I just noticed today that my Aeolus v2 clone has the same problem, but it looks fixable because of that multi piece deck. I've noticed juice below it every time I take it off, but just figured I was over dripping way too much or the o-ring was loose.

How many of you have the hobo 3.1 do you recommend spending 90 on it? Or is there something cheaper and better or comparable?
I wholeheartedly recommend the Hobo. They are out of production and when the current supply of Hobos in stores dries up there won't be anymore. You'd have to find them used. Hoberto sold them for $80 through his site but all the other sites sold them for around $90. Is it worth it? To me, yeah. I'd say every dripper fan should own one. I recently bought the Nuevo RDA from Vaperz Cloud and find it's similar to the Hobo performance wise. It has a two post deck with plenty of room for builds. It comes with two barrels, one for more restricted airflow and the other for more open. I find the flavor to be close to the Hobo despite it having more airflow. And it's only $45.00.

Well hell!

Send it to Catfish. Bet he can fix it.

I believe he was looking at doing a run of Solstices. If he has one maybe he can suggest a fix.

I emailed the company and messaged them on instagram too. Hopefully someone gets back to me but I'm not too hopeful that will happen. Let's see how great "made in the usa" holds true with this specific company.

At least it wasn't made in Hungary or Greece... Should save some time on fixing it if they reply and have actual CS....

Kinda glad I held off on the Solstice.

I'm telling ya, take a look at the Nuevo. Like I said in my mini review a few posts back, it's nothing revolutionary but it's well made and gives a great vape.
I did look at it, the vape shop I go to got them in. It's nice, but the air flow is corny imo. No offense lol @jhhollier. I don't get all the different holes, it reminds me of the royal hunter mini. And you shouldn't let MY one problem drive you from it, it's not like this is a known problem. Not that I know of at least.
