I did look at it, the vape shop I go to got them in. It's nice, but the air flow is corny imo. No offense lol @jhhollier. I don't get all the different holes, it reminds me of the royal hunter mini. And you shouldn't let MY one problem drive you from it, it's not like this is a known problem. Not that I know of at least.

I have no idea why the 6 airflow holes are situated the way they are. I kind of like how they look but don't know that that exact layout makes any difference in flavor. I have a feeling that the two sets of two air holes in the top cap help with it but I could be way off. No offense taken. I really enjoy the Nuevo and am glad I took a chance on it. I'm getting a similar vape to the Hobo but I'm only out $45.

I've just given up on the higher priced attys and mods. After trying both high end and inexpensive stuff, I don't find an appreciable difference. Well, build quality perhaps on some of the attys/mods but that's about it. Still, if my Nuevo ends up effed up it won't be a big shock to the bank account to replace it.

I like the look and the way the deck is but I just can't get with all those air holes. I've never liked rda's with all that going on, but it may vape good I'm not denying that at all. Just my preference I guess. I'm just glad I spent the 65$ and not the full price, I'd be insanely ...... if that were the case. You pay all this money for a company who plugs the fact that's it's usa all the way and day 2 I gotta send it back.....fun. I'll just reserve my comments for when and if they actually get back to me.

I'm extremely ...... off, the solstice is now leaking from the flathead screw that holds down the one post from underneath. So now it's essentially a 2 post rda that's leaking from both posts under the rda. Great....

Which would you choose out of this list? Velocity, Vortice, Petri, Aromamizer, Dark Horse, Quick Silver, and Little Boy
I own four of the above. Velocity > Petri > Dark Horse > Little Boy.

This isn't the right thread, but since I know people here know 'stuff': Is there anyone out like Vape 'N' Shine?
Plate N' Shine in Irwindale, CA. Polishing, silver and rhodium plating, the list goes on...

All over the place
I just looked into Plate 'n Shine and at first I thought it was someone wanting to take over, so to speak, for Justin (especially considering the name is clearly a nod to Vape'N' Shine), but looking at the FB reviews, it's pretty clear it's not the case. Even still, I appreciate the heads-up.

NP. Plate 'n Shine does excellent polishing/plating/rebrushing work (I have seen the results up close and personal). They do work for local shops including The Vape Den and Aquavape as well.

I figured it wasn't a mere, 'look what I found on google' response, but more of a personal one. You saying they do good work changes my perception of them, but I have to be careful with considering who I send a relatively expensive mod to . . . to alter it and get paid to do it.

I am also one of those people that automatically reads the worst reviews first . . . maybe just looking for an excuse not to gamble. Dunno.

I saw the bad reviews as well and admit that I too was wary at first. But seeing as the shop was local, I dropped by one day and my reservations were instantly tempered. Based on their review history, I fully expect delays with my future orders. But then again, I have the advantage of being able to apply visitation pressure on them. I will be on the lookout for similar shops (trying to discover who performs the black rhodium plating for Kennedy Enterprises) and report back...

@HeiSINberg, did you give your Solstice a soap/water bath at all or were you able to vape it right away with no hit of machine oil? I finally got mine this morning in my hands and am itching to take my build out of my Aeolus v2 and toss it in here lol.
No I always wash my stuff, I have a mini ultrasonic cleaner. I know how it feels trust me but I'm .... about that stuff so I always clean it regardless. I will note that it didn't seem to technically need it but I did anyway.

Nope. Not a word. Wonder if it would be worth it going through Kidney Puncher?
Yeah me either. I was thinking the same thing actually, I can deal with the o-ring thing but I'm not dealing with the leaking posts. I will trash there company to the most of my ability, not that they care. I'll give them another 2 days or so, but I've tried literally everything to get there attention. So much for all that USA business.

Someone from N8Mods got back to me a little bit ago. I have to send it back to them and they'll either fix it or replace it. Of course I was the first case they've ever heard of post leakage, which I've heard from many companies before so I don't believe that. And I have to pay for it to ship it to them. I know that's being petty but I don't feel like I should have too, I mean this wasn't a user error type problem, this was a QC problem. Guess I shouldn't sweat the small stuff but it needs to be noted nonetheless.

I don't think you're being petty. You shouldn't have to fix something that's new. Glad to hear they got back to you though and hope it all works out.
I know lol it just sounds like it when I sit and think about it cause it's really only a couple bucks but they could of at least offered. Trust me I feel the same as you. I just hope once I go through all of this back and forth stuff it ends up being fixed, I'd hate to do all this for it to still do the same thing. Is mine the only one in here that's leaking from both posts??

I don't feel you should pay to ship it either. Like you said, this is a QC issue which is on them not you.
What gets me is that I'm gonna shell the money out for priority 2 day cause I hate ground shipping and I know I won't get the same treatment back. Which to me isn't right, they didn't offer to pay for me to ship it so I'm taking it upon myself to choose what I like. The least they could do is repay the favor and send it my preferred way. But that won't happen lol guess I'll be glad if all this works out and the fact they actually got back to me.
