I didn't mod mine, though it looks do-able...
But I DID run it for a few days "topless"...that opens it a touch, and you could probably just "connect the dots" for more air.

Could you tell us how you modified it? I have three Mantas and would like to try opening one up if it is not too complicated. I agree on the Manta. Excellent atty but a little tight air. NaRDa has a perfect draw for me.

I will recommend the Aeolus Lite for an affordable, extremely leak-resistant, flavorful rda.

It's literally next on my list. I was trying to hold off on picking up another once since I still have a v1 and v2 clone, but the price point and the fact that I KNOW I love the flavor they produce, paired with the 4 post design and no more threaded sleeve make it just right up my alley.

I think Im gonna have to go with one of the Aeolus because this is going to be my beater rig.

Its was mention in one of the treads I was looking at where it was being sold for $30? Can you guys link it to me if you guys know about it? It might even be on here...

VaporDNA has the Aeolus Lite for sure.

I really wish I could just find my IDEAL rda so I can stop buying 1 to 2 a paycheck lol. I want a 2 post design, top airflow, 22mm, minimal engravings, good o-rings, Allen screws, and a design that lets me use my own drip tip or an optional top cap of my choosing. I've yet to find my perfect atty and I don't think I ever will but who knows! I'm partial to smaller rda's too so if it was on the shorter side that would just be awesome. Just my thoughts.

I'm assuming the reference is to a clone.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. And while I appreciate the response I really don't want a stumpy clone or authentic. I think I'm moving away from the small scene.

Away from the small scene? Let me know if you find anything "big" worth it lol.

I decided that today I'm going to install a single coil in the Solstice. I made up a framed staple clapton a while back that I think would perform nicely. (2) 26n80 frames, (6) 0.5 x 0.1 ka1 ribbon staple, 36n80 fuse.

You know what I mean lol like I'm getting away from the super super small rda's. I personally hate the large rda's but a normal size is really what I meant. Like the hobo 3.1, and the solstice size. And not the low pro or bambino.

Come on, you don't want a Buddha Zephyr V2? A 30mm beast of an atty? I keep waffling between that and the Temple which is also 30mm. I think I need a 30mm dripper to go with that 30mm Ohmega Alpha BFT I have. One on each RX200. Then I'll need more RX200s I s'pose.

ETA: Actually I forgot that I just made a trade to send my Aeolus V2 Pro for a Mangala which is 28.5mm. I guess I'll wait and see how I like that before getting a Temple or Buddha.

No sir!! Lol. 30mm is way to big for me, I don't even like the 24mm rda's to be honest but this is all my preference of course.

@HeiSINberg - have you checked out the Griffin RTA? It's the first RTA that is actually as good as a dripper IMO. The flavor rivals the Hobo and NarDA. I'm sure some people will call that heresy but tasting is believing.
Nope, I've heard of it but I've never looked into it. Now I must search!!

VapeNW has them for $25.99. I also picked up the Avocado which is made by the same folks (GeekVape) that make the Griffin. It's like a genny/RTA sort of thing. Also quite enjoyable.

I have heard this statement about every single RTA that's come out for the last 6 months lol. I thought the same about my Aromamizer, but the lack of easily adjustable airflow options and tiny deck chamber have me second guessing. I'll have to look into the Griffin though. I think the massive height turned me off from it since I've been on a short height, top fill RTA search lately.

I loved the look and idea of the Avacado, I just don't think I could get down with something that doesn't have an easy fill method. A small fill hole with a grommet like the Fodi would make it pretty much good to go. Oh, and top airflow lol.

Sorry for the RTA tangent but I know H likes his tanks too so I thought I'd mention them.
Yes I do, I'm a tank lover for life lol. I use both but if I'm running out I always grab my tanks......and sometimes the Narda, since it really doesn't leak and can easily be closed off to seal it.
