The new Hastur is a nice little ~$20 atty. Very nice actually! Nice feel to the airflow (almost swirling) and no leaking. If the Velocty-style deck was made just a bit better and the overall unit was a tad bit beefier, I would never believe this was so cheap. As it is, there are atties 4x this price that aren't made better or even vape better. So nice to see good gear at these prices without it having to be a knock-off! This was a really good purchase.

Been waiting on your review of this! Didn't want to bug you on your blog. Checked 360 too. Going to do a full review, Mr. Mann?

D'uh . . . I got it direct from Cthulhu. They have a 'shop' tab in the upper right of the home page. And I paid exactly $30. I thought it was closer to $20, but I am still pleased with it . . . but closer to $20 would've been better.
I'm the one that should be saying duh. I didn't even notice the damn shop tab. Thanks.

Incidentally I just rebuild the Hastur (2mm ID Claptons .48 ohm) and slapped in my DIY vanilla custard. Tasty. I was kind of discouraged after I made it but it's been steeping/curing/aging/whateveryouwannacallit for almost two weeks now and the flavor is popping. It reminds me a bit of Daft Spunk. Gonna have to mix up a big batch of it.

Not to veer too far into the topic DIY land, but do you make flavoring batches? That is a godsend! So fun to do becasue of how easy it makes your life! Just squirt in base and be done. All you really have to be certain of is that the mix is right! It also makes it easier, much easier, to adjust the overall flavor.

If you do this already, just ignore it. This may hopefully help out others making batches too frequently with all the separate flavorings.

No, I mix everything at the same time. Maybe I should try that. I really enjoy messing about with DIY. I made like 8 test batches and have been dripping a bit each day to see how they evolve. My first two goals were a vanilla custard and a creamy strawberry. I feel like I'm fairly close with this custard but need to work on the strawberry. I mean, the ones I made are all vapeable but they're not what I want. Honestly, I'm trying to make something that tastes like Strawberry Quik. After that I want to get a good Jazzy Boba clone, some sort of clove tobacco and a strong, orange flavor.

Intrigued in hearing your custard recipe. I have yet to nail down my perfect custard. Electrum blonde by alloy blends is where I set my bar from one time I tried it. I can't seem to get a rich creamy powerful custard no matter what I try. None of the grants, etc do it for me.

I love Grant's but this is nothing like it. Like I said, it reminds me of Daft Spunk if you've ever tried that. It's not dead on, mind you, but it's reminiscent.

The recipe is:
Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP) 9%
Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) 3%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA) 1%
I mix it at 50/50 and 3mg

Might have to try that. I ran out of TFA vbic, but have CAP that I'll try with it. Maybe add a little FA Vienna cream for some extra backbone on the custard.

I might throw in some Vienna Cream as well and make a test batch to see how I like it. It's not the most complex juice but it's got a good creaminess and vanilla flavor.

Hey, $30, decent vape, BF-ready, top air, kinda short...that's right up my alley...

Want to buy my Aeolus v1? People seem to like them more then the v2 for some reason but I prefer my v2 and have no reason to own a v1 anymore...
I was talking about the solstice lol. I had a v1 and sold it. I wouldn't pay 5 bucks for a v1 right now. But thanks for the offer!

@kformeck - did you see the new Boost Lab atty? I think it's called the Izi? Seems up your alley. The Avocado might be too.

I did, just asked the HEM guys if it's mesh oriented or not. Also looks like a dual/quad atty only too. I have the K.Loud+G and I'm loving it; the flavor is so intense because of how tiny the chamber is.

I have an Avocado and a Griffin coming to me as well. Thanks for suggestions though! Gonna try the Avocado with a mesh u-wick first since it is labeled 'Genesis' on the site even though it doesn't seem to be a true genny. Regardless, I like the idea of airflow hitting the coil from behind; for some reason I won't pretend to understand, that usually gives me a phenomenal vape: the Veritas, Marquis, Ology and NarDA all have airflow like this and I love every one of those. Heard the Griffin is a really awesome RTA too so I'm excited to start messing around with tanks again.

Also, the Sat22 should arrive today!
