I'm leaning toward the Revolt. Despite it only being made with a SS finish, I like the looks of it. I saw that they also offer a delrin top cap replacement which is interesting.
Well, if we're sharing coupon codes local vape is having 20% off with code "local20". The hobo 3.1 shows as in stock.I just checked that site and the hobo 3.1 is sold out, damn I wanted to see how much it would be. I went to my vape shop last night and decided against it, I'm sorry I like it but it's too much for too little. I mean seriously it's got nothing going on that's worth Damn near 100$, just my take. That and it was a pain to even get it broken down to look at it, it took 3 of us to just get the sleeve off......pass.

Thanks. Aside from the Hobo v3.1, I don't see much I actually want (just like with the link I posted). Maybe the Tug.
I'm telling you other then me wanting to support him, I really don't see why this thing is close to 100$ almost everywhere. It's especially apparent once you hold and play with it. The machining is very nice, the looks are nice, but for how simple it is I don't get it.Thanks. Aside from the Hobo v3.1, I don't see much I actually want (just like with the link I posted). You're a NET guy, right? I have a manta (BF modified by Chowderhead) and love it with my NETs. I just do simple spaced single coils around .8 ohms. I get better flavor with the coil being fairly close to the posts.
I'm pretty sure it's him, he's got over 20 machines I believe. He posted a pic one time but every time we talked I never asked him, but I'm pretty certain it's him and others that are making them here and not outsourcing. I could be wrong of course but I doubt it.Do you know if he is the actual machinist? I don't know much abut Hoberto. Like in the case of Element Mods, I know Harry is the machinist. I do think there should be a difference in pricing from these atty companies when they do the work themselves vs. outsourcing. If outsourcing it, it should be cheaper IMO.

Hold on. Let me unscrew it...I can't tell, which airflow config do you have?
Yeah I respect that, and the fact I somewhat feel like I know him. I mean the man gave me his personal cell number and took time to call and talk to me so I do wanna support him and in a way I do. But I still feel like for what it is it's a little much. Or I'm spoiled by all the cheap authentics coming out recently lol could be both.I do think $100 is a bit much, but I accept it more from someone that machines it themselves -- especially how see seems to operate his overall business.
Hold on. Let me unscrew it...
Both sides are full open. All three holes. Running it at 24.8 Standard on the SX Mini is comfortably numb. 24.0 Powerful is full and just on the edge of sharp heat.
Got around to doing the Manta. Spaced coil as you suggested. 26ga, 3/32" .8 ohms single. Works great. There's room for a buncha rayon.

My thoughts after a bit of using:
Quality parts. Everything screws together well. Helluva time pulling the top off for the first time.
Easy to build with deep Philips heads.
Holds a lot of wicking.
Great air flow and flavor.
Things that bug me:
O rings on the inside of the cap. Pulls my rayon out of the well when i take my top off.
Having to take the top off to figure out the air hole alignment. I see though where this would be great for bottom feeding since I wouldn't be fiddling with it. Set it and done.
Liking it very much so far.
