I'm able to get on the SOV site via Chrome. I'm trying to stay away though because I'm so tempted to click Add to Cart button.
SOV got back with me and said "... our site has been getting hammered and is lagging from time to time", but it's being addressed.
What RDAs do you all feel are the best (connection wise) for Ni200? Besides The Velocity.
Mr Mann, atties like The Stumpy and the Hobo 3.1 are great for ni200. Anything that does NOT have massive post hole screws and comes with flat bottom grubs should do the trick. I barely do ni200, you getting into it.
Thanks, bud. I figured those were good, but I didn't think about the giagntic post holes as being another thing to be leery of...in some cases at least.
Yep, I am doing that as we speak. But first I am using tanks on the SX Mini to get used to settings and whatnot.

I see. My wife uses TC 100% of the time, 100% with RDAs. Me personally, I am trying to get more into it but I just hate building with ni200. Large post holes will lead to a less secure connection with the higher gauges of ni200 as I am sure you understand. My wife mostly uses the Petri which does have fair size post holes so there are other factors. Let me know how you get on with TC, what your building and so forth. My wife uses a clapton coil lol.
So here are some first impressions from my short time with the Mako Shorty. Keep in mind this is all IMO and may not be to your liking, just putting it out there. Short version of all this, I LOVE this! If everything stays this way this is my favorite short atty to date, it blows the bambino and derringer out of the water. Big post holes, deep juice well, came with shorty derringer style stainless drip tip and a peek chuff style cap with air flow control, everything can be broken down to be cleaned. It came to me spotless, no marks, no burs, no machine oil or flakes of metal, nothing! And the flavor is amazing too, just what you'd expect from this short of an atty. And one of the best things too is no spit back, I haven't used the chuff style cap yet so I can't speak on that aspect of it just yet. But for the 40$ I spent on this it is a clear winner for me by far. And I love the looks, almost reminds me of my cascata (worst rda ever owned) but nicer. If I were to recommend a cheaper atty thats short and easy to build on, this is definitely it. And so far no leaks....so far. I'm optimistic though.

Thanks man I'm pretty happy so far. Just wish it came out sooner so I didn't have to go through so many small attys to find one I like. I think everyone finally talked me into a stumpy.....especially you and Toronto. So once I get my money in I'm gonna grab one and hopefully slow down a bit.....right haha. I can try.

I bought a Sapor as my first RDA. I really like it a lot and bought it primarily for the fact that it is top airflow (I wanted to avoid leaking). I can't compare it to others since it is my first RDA, but am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

Cool. It's honestly the one atty that I would damned near recommend to anyone, but especially someone such as yourself. It's easy to see this as just another hype-train barreling through the forums, but I can promise you that we sincerely see this as a great little atty.
I was just trying to hold back cause I thought I wanted the hobo 3.1. I should of jumped on it when you told me it was on sale, now I'm extremely regretting that decision. But I trust the both of you, and in a bunch of ways we mostly agree when it comes to that.

Just got my tobeco Velocity clone today. Tossed in a standard (for me) pair of fused Claptons, 26/34 n80, 6 wraps 7/64id at 0.18ohm on my IPv4 at 80w with some Vaping Rabbit The Hatter clone that I just mixed up. Building centered coil is amazingly easy. Flavor is on point. Airflow is real easy to set where I like it and the added 510 drip tip adapter is a huge plus as I don't like huge bore tips. Also the "tab" inside the top cap is rounded and sits where it should very easily.
So far, I'm really digging this atty! My Aeolus and vector are taking a backseat for a little while now.
