Rip rips on a lot of things that I disagree with and praises things that don't deserve it. I take his opinion with a grain of salt and a shot of tequila to keep watching his over acted mannerisms.

And @HeiSINberg if you want some nichrome Claptons I can send some your way. I love building them.

Also has anyone seen anything on this guy? Looks VERY promising.

Looks to me like another cloudchaser. Anymore info on this or is it only going to be released at ECC?

It's all about what you like and damn everybody else. I do agree with using only the bottom airflow the V4 gives more flavor. I can use the V4 and not get leaks but I have to be extra careful when dripping and for me that is a deal breaker. I prefer the V3 with the glass top cap because of that. No AFC with the glass top cap but the airflow is perfect IMO. Two holes on each side (no idea of the size but I'd guess about 3mm maybe? could be slightly bigger) and I get pretty nice flavor from it.
Ya I only have used it at home. And chain it. So, haven't had much issues. I did tho leak bad and got all over my hands, under the sleeve on the vt. WAS very annoying. I can see that being frustrating.

Hey fellow gander! Good to see another around these parts. What area are you in? What shops do you go to?

Leaking doesn't bother me a ton when I am vaping because I can tend to it, but the issue I have--that REALLY irks me--is when I have leaking while the atty is left alone and especially on regulated devices where leaking can kill circuits! I doubt I am the only one that has had a mod rendered useless because of leaking. And that there folks is how leaking can cost $$$!

Hey hey! I'm New here, and loving it.
I live in port huron. The two shops I go to, one is in Richmond. Buffalo bills. Not so much there, but on occasion. The main one is Mr. Vapor. Really close to my house lol.
What about you?

Well its kinda bitter sweet... as I was just watching and reading reviews about some other rdas. (Looking for competition worthy :) + quad coiling would be awesome) ..and my mutation leaked :/ my hands are sticky, the barrels tacky, im not so happy right now lol
And I think I need to re do my coils. :/
HOW'S YOUR NIGHT lol

All is well here. In Mount Clemens these days, so just a ways down on I-94. We got a few vape shops around here with the best one, Vapor Craft, in Clawson. For quads, if your building is up to snuff, I would recommend the 454 Big Block v2 (or even the v1 sans the drip tip if you're looking for massive clouds). It doesn't have the airflow you think would be required for chucking (and it may be a tad too tight for you), but it sure as hell can do it and it does it with a heft in the flavor department. That's why I like it. Clouds, to me, just require adequate airflow or drilling-out of barrels, but flavor is more of an engineering/design approach and is not standard in most chuckers. Maybe it's not for you though? Dunno.

Ah ya not far at all. My ex worked at the hospital there just past Meijers. (Can't think of street) hmm maybe I'll come check out the stores down there this weekend.

Well, considering I just started vaping about a week ago. Bought evic vt. Because had ability to be upgradeable. But not over the top. Yet ;)
I have been doing custom car audio systems since I was about 13. & competing in mi, oh, indy,. Etc..I love to build my own things. And this I knew would be a addiction. So 3 days later, bought a Mutation x v4. It's meh. Should've waited and did more research. BUT I do like it. Just need to practice more coil building. So Ya, can't do quad. Yet ;) but I love a challenge and to be, even at least a little, outside of normal.

Which is why I found this site. (Starting to blab lol Ima ....)

Also. I do have a little confusion with how "airy" this rda can be. I've been thinking it might just be cause my mod isn't able to make it shine but Idk. I actually have a few, maybe stupid questions. Just haven't focused enough yet to make the threads lol.
But ha I like flavour also! But with that said, I'm ok with having a tank for that.(will say tho, this mxv4 with lower afc open and top closed, I get nice flavor) Thinking tfv4 or w,e it's called. And use rda just for clouds, chucking.

That thing looks really nice, I wonder if it has adjustable airflow. Reminds a lot of the tugboat, kinda like a tugboat v3 with crazy airflow.

It's annoying at best. I would kill to be able to go to one.....let alone have the money to spend while there. The worst part is watching everyone take pics of there ECC haul on instagram. I hate it! It's like a mountain of juice, wicks, mods and attys.

ECC and other events like it are why I work on my vape tricks everyday lol. I have a young face... and I want to go to these meets and sell my soul for some free juice dammit!! First and foremost though, I'm working on being as good as people who are already sponsored, so it really is a labor of love. ;)

What Mr Mann said a page back was DAMN TRUE. Non inovative standard cloud chuckers will continue to sell because that seems be what EVERYONE thinks is so great at most shops. Not a lot, (barely any actually) of vapers feel the way we do in this thread about atties. Im all over shops and I hear the same praises for generic crap.

The way I look at it is, no matter what an atty has or what we think of it as far as innovation there gonna sell, period. Prime example is the tugboat and dinghy. There basic as hell yet they sell like hot cakes. And what a lot of companies do is come out with 1 atty and then come out with a 2nd revision right after of the 1st and change minor things or make it smaller and BOOM they sell cause everyone always wants the next best or newest thing. It works with phones and tv's.

In my area its all about the hype. I don't know how many times I tried to tell a shop owner that I hang out with what the new cool innovations are, they are always concerned on what is selling and what is going to sell. Then 2 months down the road will start selling the innovative item I told them about because it is, in fact, living up to its hype late in the game.

The derringer for instance, I took into the shop a day after i got it. Nobody understood it, why it was so small, why there was "no airflow". The mutation Xv2 was the hot item. 2 weeks later i walk in and everyone has a derringer claiming it's the best thing since sliced bread. I just smh.
