All this talk about squonking makes me really want to get into it! I mean it makes the most sense to me, I really love dripping but I can't stand carrying my box mod, a bottle of juice and a battery or two. That's why I have a tank or two to save me from that. But the squonking thing, yeah that sounds right up my alley. I've never tried it before either so I'm interested in how I would like it. Has anyone saw that self dripper thing that hangs in your car like a GPS and you put your mod and dripper under it and push up and it drips for you, all one handed! I think it's called EZ dripper or something.

I just saw set focalecig a weird dripper that looks like it has a squonk bottle underneath, I don't think it's a clone as I've never seen it before, maybe that is a way to try it out first

If you don't change that many flavors or if you have dedicated mods for a flavor give squonking a try...
I was hesitant to try it for a few years even though I really leaves the idea, now I can't believe I didn't try it before. Never really liked the look of the REO so that was a contributing factor on my delay

Yeah I'm also not a big fan of the reos either, there nice but just not my style. Plus there pricey, but it seems like every squonk box is in that price range anyway. At least the ones that would most fit my style of vaping. I can't vape just one flavor all day lol not sure why but I get sick of it fast. I normally have about 3 set ups going at home.

The best investment I have made in vaping would have to be buying the Reo Grand. It has been my rock to this date, but if you are interested in squonking you might look into the 18650 Peko+. I have the original version of the 18650 Peko and it has over exceeded my expectations. It's lightweight, durable, squonks like a dream, and never had a leak from it. I have dropped it getting out of the truck several times, from the edge of the roof cleaning gutters, ran over it with the riding mower, and it still keeps on vaping. The only maintenance that I've had to do to it is clean the contacts in it and occasionally one of the magnets will work its way loose. No problem though as they stay locked together, just put a dab of super glue in the slot and re-seat it. Ready to go in minutes... I haven't found an atty that doesn't sit flush and in the position, (air hole wise), that I want with the adjustable FD classic 510 that is in it. I think it took me all of about 30 minutes to assemble. The thing that took the longest was painting and sealing it. Awesome setup for sure. The thing hits like a tank too... Check it out. Only $90 at Live Wire... 18650 - Hardware Kit for Bottom Feeder Mod

Wow! 90$ is not bad at all for what it does. I'm just not very technically inclined lol I do car stuff but this throws me off a little. I looked at the instructions but I wouldn't wanna buy this and mess something up, I have terrible luck. How hard was it to assemble for you? Did you have prior experience with this kind of stuff before? One more question, I don't have to solder anything correct?

Chuckling because I'd have to ask too because of my fumble fingers....
Looking at this thread it doesn't appear there would be any soldering.

Yeah I have decent size hands that hardly work for this kinda stuff, even working on my car there's stuff the wife needs to step in cause she has small hands lol.

Thanks man I'll read over the thread! The piko+ looks very promising. That price for a bottom feeder is good. I figure if I get the lowprodripper it already comes with an extra bottom feed pin so if I did end up getting the piko+ it would come in handy. Or I could get a fully assembled one for 150$ but I think I wanna have something to do and be able to say I made it.....well put it together at least.

I've been squonking for the last 2 months and don't see myself going back, I've already converted 90% of my rdas to squonk and love the convenience.

I have two squonkers, one for tobaccos (that I haven't really used in the last month) and 1 for my adv which is a fruit based menthol, I do like to drip over it with a few different fruits or a menthol boost on top now and then or even mix a bit in the bottle and love it...

for the the beauty of dripping was that I used 2 or 3 similar profile flavors a day and mixed it up a bit to change it, still works here, my bottle usually contains my main juice and sometimes I drip from the top something else.

I love that I can leave the house just with my mod and know I have a .2ohm dripper, enough juice (10ml) and battery so I don't need to carry anything else with me
Thanks for the info on squonking. How much does it cost to modify a dripper to be a bottom feeder?

No soldering needed on the Peko+... They are pretty easy to put together. I would say if you don't have many tools, have them drill and tap the delrin insert for the FD510 in the kit. I think they charge like $5 for it. As I said earlier, the hardest thing about the build was the painting and sealing. There are a lot of people that just seal the device only and just leave it white. Both of mine I used Krylon spray paint and Krylon Matte finish on them. My original is showing some signs of wear and I will be tearing it apart to refinish it after I get the Peko+ and get it painted and built. I think you should definitely give it a go...

The delrin and the 510 your referring to is in the optional drop down menu right? I was wondering what that was, I have the tools but it's more whether I trust myself to do it and do it right. I think once I get paid im gonna try it, best part is I can paint it any way I want, I LOVE painting and stuff like that. Thanks again for all the advice and making me aware of this product!

Thanks for the info on squonking. How much does it cost to modify a dripper to be a bottom feeder?

nothing really, I've modded mine, some I just took out the positive post and used some scissors to cut a part of the insulator, then reassembled (2 minutes work) and some after I got a dremmel I just cut a channel on the positive screw and post , it really depends on the rda you plan to modify but it is really easy to do

option 2 you can have it professionally made by catfish atty mods but I don't really see the point

option 3 fatdaddy sells positive bottom fed pins that fit some rdas, the good thing about this is that you still have your normal pin if you want to go back to normal mods.

So, Flawless has come up with another cap for the Tugboat. It's square and has top airflow holes, one in each corner of the top Cap. Not sure I'd like the square look, though.

Also, the Dinghy is $13 off on Flawless' site ( all of their products are 20% off) for today only. $52 might be more palatable for those of you who were interested.

Funny you bring this up, I just used my slam cap and it got really hot, I wish they made a delrin cap like the derringer. But I'm with you on the square cap, not too sure about that.

I can't tell what material these caps are made of. The drip tip appears to be delrin and might not even be built in like the other caps that've come out but it's hard to say for sure. I see a seam around the base of the drip tip which is what makes me think it's possible you can remove it.

Looks like more and more atty builders are building short (mini) attys for better flavor.

That looks sweet. Its cerakoted steel by the looks of it. It LOOKS sweet IMO. Didnt say it was worth it so dont rip me a new one H[emoji14]
Ha! Lol. I don't know, I kinda want it. With the build I have right now my cap gets hot after a while. So this might help that. Plus I love delrin tips. And I think it would look sick on my box mod. I just wish they'd make a 22mm delrin cap, now that I would jump on.
