Hey my fellow rda junkies!!!! After reading some of your thoughts I have decided to look into squonking and BF rdas. I was looking for dual 18650 squonk mods and could not find any!? Is this not a thing? Also what would be a good (hopefully affordable) squonk box to start with? Thanks for your input !!

ECF member/supplier vkiwi makes dual 18650 squonkers. His thread is here:

VR Wood Mods bottom feeders kiwi style

However, the list is pretty long and it would be months before you'd see it. They aren't inexpensive either but he is a true craftsman.

Many of the dual 18650 squonkers are huge! I think they should take the form of an RX200 (squonk bottle in front) or just use 26650s to cut down on the size.

Edit . . . man, that dude @inswva linked to has some awesome wares!

Yes... yes, he does. I have one and am on the list for two more. They are absolute works of art.

I know this one has probably been discussed to death, but I got an Origen Little BF delivered today. It's on a Reo Grand with a single center (Z) coil made from 28ga Kanthal, 2.0mm diameter, .8-ohms to heat quickly - and preserve battery life.

Gotta say this thing is fantastic. Lots of vapor and flavor. Probably going to relegate my Nuppin' to back-up status, or I may even sell the Nuppin' to fund another Origen for back-up. It's really that good.

And even though it's small, it works on the Grand.

I might just have to get one of those...
How would you compare the airflow to a Nuppin? Looks wide open - is that comparable to a Nuppin wide open, or a little more restricted?

Questions for you all, if you're building on a mechanical device with a 26650, how do your builds differ from mechs with an 18650?

Friends don't let friends buy 26650 mods, my friend! Biggest disappointment of a battery since Bestfire wrapped a reject. I can only speak to the MNKE's, but MASSIVE battery, with little discernible life over an LG HG2, and much more expensive. PASS!

Well, for me it's apples and oranges. I have the Origen wide open on both sides, but only used the Nuppin' with one airhole wide open directly across from a single coil. Because of that the Origen is more airy, but not a fair comparison to the Nuppin'.

Having said that, the flavor is every bit as good as the Nuppin' if not a bit more intense, but close. No surprise after actually seeing how small the Origen is. Airflow is good enough for me to do my direct lung hits without feeling like I'm vaping through a straw. It's not airy like my Stumpy wide open, but very good and will suit my mobile vaping needs quite well on the Reo.

Hope that helps.

OK, dug out the Nuppin' from my spare atty box and took a pull on it and immediately followed with the Origen. With the Nuppin' wide open and the Origen wide open they are VERY close. Maybe a very very very small edge to the Nuppin', but close enough to call it subjective.

Unfortunately there's no hole, I wrap the wire around the post & tighten down. Just built mine tonight with a SS vertical coil. Yep, it's still worth the money.

I do rda's exclusively, in fact just one, the SV. It does favor and MTL better than any of the small collection of other drippers I have. Since the air supply is only one one side it's less complicated to control leaking for pocket carry. I'm so partial to the SV I don't want to buy another rda unless I'm pretty sure I'll like it at least as much. So I saw the Penny recently. Does anyone have one? The SV is so good at flavor I can get by with 1%. At that low percent my other rda's become almost flavorless.
