Just picked up the SS and Black Mose, came in Saturday. I tried out the Clone and was very impressed so I picked up two Authentics. Only device I have that is truly leak proof, to test it out I overdripped so much I actually submerged the coils and it still wouldn't leak. Awesome flavor due to bottom air and being a Pinoy device from MCM excellent build quality.

Now this is truly worth paying $110 for quality "and" an original design.

Won't take the bait, though it does look yummy. Ha!

About the atty: when did that come out? Gonna go look into it now. Looks pretty good from what I can see here.

Not sure how long, I "think" maybe a couple of months. Long enough to them to kick out a clone. Comparing the Clone to the Authentic it's not 1:1 and not too bad. The Authentic is much better manufactured and a bit larger, you can tell a pretty significant difference. Haven't had the chance to put a build in the Authentics yet but when I get home from work that's first on my agenda. Been taking care of some Vape friends for their early Christmas ;)

Anyway I got mine at Dragons Den

Mose' 24mm RDA by MCM Mods Philippines (Black)

Is it worth the $110 price? I say yes

Been thinking about this one. Do you think you could swap out for a bf pin on the clone? Do you have any way of telling the size of the center post screw?

Just Vaped them both forward, but no. It's a two post and don't believe you would have any luck finding one.

At the end of the day vaping is subjective and everyone has an opinion. I think its funny people feel the need to so vigorously tell people what they should or should not be feeling, vaping or spending there money on. Did I feel that the O Atty was overpriced yes.... Did I still buy it yes.

To be honest most of these small form factor single coil RDAs perform more or less very similarly. I love the Narda and I also love the O Atty. The Hadaly on the hand I only like. To be fair it vapes similiar to the Narda or O Atty but it just does not give me the pop the aforementioned two do.

im actually deciding between the hadaly and the o-atty and own a narda, i just want to supplement it with something more airy to it, and after reading this, seems im starting to consider the O more..... my only gripe with the O is the price point, aside from the fact that two of my friend's o-atty's post giving out on them (loose thread)..

Now, back to the regularly scheduled programming... is thing even on? Whatever, I feel like squeezing off another.

I am still diggin' on the Tokugawa and the O. The O is my favorite atty.

No special coils needed. No spitting. Great flavor (with regular coils). A great draw. I'm sayin'!

Yeah, the build-deck is just ahhhhight, but the vape tho.

mr mann is the o-atty really that great compared to nar?? hmmm thinking between the o and the hadaly...

The Hadaly is a good vape don't get me wrong. It functions best for me with a nice fused Clapton or mini alien and I like to run my builds in it a bit higher then I would in other single coil RDAs. Its easy to build on and It has good flavor. It really is a decent Vape its just a lot for a Chinese made mass produced RDA and I might be a bit biased as mine had some machining issues and was covered in machine oil however most people did not have my issues so keep that in mind.

I have all three and I like the O-atty more than the Hadaly. But that is only based on a couple of personal preferences. I find the O-atty to be more leak resilient and the draw seems a bit easier to dial down, for me. Building and the flavor of the Hadaly is excellent. I just keep getting juice in the air holes and I hate fiddling with it. I probably need to try some different wicking techniques and that might help. If you like an airier RDA and are a skilled dripper or squander, you won't be sorry with the Hadaly.

Oh boy, putting me on the spot. Just my opinion, but I am not fond of the Hadalay, so it's not really a fair comparison for me to make. The Hadalay is an RDA that has a cool looking deck, and a cool looking profile, but that is where it ends for me. I actually kinda hate that RDA.

The O has some things about it (price, build deck) that may turn you off. But for me, once again, the vape wins the day. In my book, yes, the O is that much better, but I think the Hadalay isn't much better of a vape than stuff we were vaping with last year (if even that). Just a regular RDA waiting for "flavor coils" to turn it into a "flavor-chasin' RDA".

Of course, others love the Hadalay, buy I would sell mine for a couple bottles of good juice (maybe even one bottle. :D).

Edit: If you're looking for more air, I am not sure the O will suffice.

As someone who likes tighter draws, I think the NarDA still wins hands down. I've had my o-attys for quite a while now and have done countless builds and the NarDA still takes the cake IMO. The O-atty has a noticeably looser draw than the NarDA but its far from cloud chasing territory, it's still a restricted lung hit. The draw on the o-atty is unlike anything I've ever vaped though, it's just so smooth and has a feel that words can't really describe.

But you're asking more about the o vs the Hadaly, I agree with @Mr.Mann for the most part; go with the o-atty for sure.

I really don't hate the Hadaly, it has its issues but IMO, it's the best Chinese dripper on the market. Easiest atty I've ever built and the flavor is really really good. I'm happy I got one but I am a little upset that I decided to get two.

So the o-atty vs the Hadaly, it's a no brainer, the o wins hands down.

Who cares if the Hadaly was made in China? It seems like that's a bigger issue for some than how it performs. I realize not everyone is going to like every atty but when I read that the Hadaly doesn't produce excellent flavor... I don't know what to think. I've tried quite a few of the so-called "high end" attys and the Hadaly (at least the one I have) is machined just as well and out produces most of them in the flavor department. I've had three NarDAs and I would take the Hadaly over it any day for a number of reasons. Hadaly is MUCH easier to build on, the airflow is more adjustable, the Hadaly is easily found for purchase and the price doesn't make you feel like you're getting gouged and there are also a number of readily available accessories for it which also aren't ridiculously priced.

There's nothing wrong with something being made in China. It doesn't necessarily mean it's inferior in quality. Look at Augvape's products. Those are mass produced in China and the machining is ridiculously good. Attys don't have to be rare and expensive to be good, sorry.

Ha! Until I read what others posted, I totally forgot it was a China-manufactured product. Mine has its flaws, but so does my O. My expectations of this thing are what killed it for me.

J, do you mind if I ask what kind of coils you put in your Hadalay? I ask because I have tried (I think it was fused) Claptons, tiger wire (and some other "flavor coils") and the flavor was good, like really good. But IME those coils can do that in a plethora of drippers that are not considered flavor atties.

In the Hadalay, I tried using several guages of kanthal, in single or dual, in differernt positions, but the flavor was practically absent. In the NarDA or the O, I can get great flavor with a simple coil (or coils). Those are great without those special coils, but also great without them.

For me, price, scarcity and all that mean nothing -- wait, that is not true. If a device is all unicorned out, it better perform great! I won't really debate the price because I still by pre-made juice: the biggest racket in vaping.

But I will say that buying the slam cap for the O was a DUMB decision on my part. I HATE that thing more than the Hadalay, and they cost about the same... and it is just a stupid delrin cap.

I have fused Claptons in mine. I honestly haven't tried single strand builds in it because I use fused Claptons with all of my single coil attys (well the ones that can accommodate them, anyway). Next time I rebuild one of my Hadalys, I will try with single strand 24 or 26g Kanthal or maybe some SS and see how it performs.

The price and scarcity don't mean anything to me either in regard to whether an atty is good or not. It's just a nice bonus if an atty is both reasonably priced and easy to obtain. My days of stalking FB groups and trying to X1 for a $150+ atty are over. It's not worth it because those attys probably aren't gonna perform any better than my Hadalys or Drifters.

Dude, I am so with you. Hell, one of the reasons I don't do that anymore is because of my experience with the Nipple. I managed to get good flavor with it, but it took too much and the builds were temperamental and required too much precision for flavor. I straight up was embarrassed by that purchase looking back on it.

Just for reference, here is my build in the O (the one that has made me the most happy. I can make these builds all day!).

2 x 3/4 of 26g on (I think) a 2.5 mm bit. Not a lot of wiggle room in there. But all clear!

My only issue with something being mass produced in China is if the company is marking them up way beyond the point of making a healthy profit. I love augvape products and I have some clones that are higher quality then the authentics they are clones of. Again as I mentioned earlier in the thread just my opinions.

@ Hank lol right.... I can't really comment as to what's going on there as I don't have the required info. I think $90 for a petri v2 was excessive considered its made in China in much higher numbers at a much lower cost however it does not appear to being passed down to the
Customers.. shrug..... Also I know this thread is not clone friendly but I just want to mention the SXK Petri RTA clone I have is pretty much identical to the authentic. I paid $70 for my authentic and a 120ml of juice and for the SXK I paid $15 (I think) ....
When possible I always try to buy the authentic product however I'm starting to question that principle when concerning products that are made in Shenzhen yet sold and marketed as high priced authentics. I love being able to support US made vape products and or small companies that sell niche high quality high end atomizers or mods. They use expensive materials and expensive custom tooled machinery. The results are expensive products however that's ok with me because in my opinion its worth it.

An authentic is an authentic because of the entity who conceptualized it, engineered it, tooled for it, produced it, marketed it and sold it and shouldered the expenses for all those phases of originality, and took the risks of whether or not he/she (it) would even recover their investment. Because that person is Chinese does not reduce the value and should not reduce our expectations of cost.

Likewise, if a person creates something which becomes wildly popular, and then they change it (ostensibly to improve it) and look for ways to shave costs to increase the profitibility AND/OR lower the cost, what is the problem with that? Do you own an Apple? Or a million other things?

I am not trying to be confrontational, but there is some politics to the economics espoused. The other end of the spectrum, where I reside, is that anything is worth exactly what a knowledgeable customer is willing to pay for it. Nobody owes us a discount because they figured out how to save some money, and are transparent about the change in manufacturing sources.
