I haven't been here for awhile, and vaping technology has come a LONG way! :)
I started w/ Joye 510's back in 2009, and direct dripped, as I got tired of messing with "blue foam", etc. etc. etc.
I was always hunting for flavor.

When the Ego C came out, I was one of the first buyers, and have used the stock setup w/ LR Atty's for a couple of years now.
I know I've been sacrificing flavor and vape quality, but the Ego C has been low maintenance, just fill and go. I've found several juice flavors from MS T's that the Ego C brings out decent flavor.

But, I've been launching a new software product over the last several months, and working 70+ Hours weekly, and unfortunately have gone back to sneaking analogs several times daily. (I know, bad me)..

So, I think it's time to step up my vape game, and everything I read about the Provari is positive.
BUT, I read mixed reviews on the various juice delivery systems to work with the Provari.

Coming from an Ego C, fill and forget system (I toss LR Atty's as soon as the flavor doesn't meet my demands), I need help on selecting a delivery system that is as low maintenance as possible, but doesn't sacrifice on flavor and vape production.
If I'm going to invest this much financially, I have high expectations on the experience?

Cartos, Clearo's, Fluid Flasks, IKV's, RBA's, Punchs (Help, I've fallen into delivery system hell, and I can't find my way!)

I don't have an issue using my Ego C for mobile (At least to start)..

It's time! Thanks in advance for any help and guidance.

I use carto/tank combos with smok tech resurrector 2 hole punch cartos from CCV. I love this set up. I have tanks from various places . I love this set up and it has worked well for me, a person who doesn't want to have to fiddle with things too much. By the way, I love the Provari - easy to use and works every time:)

I've been using cartotanks for several months as my main delivery device for my two Provari's. I prefer using the high quality yet relatively inexpensive IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! I have a dozen of these now, each with their own flavor. Easily my favorite tanks, even among those costing three times more.

A cartotank is only as good as it's cartomizer. If you can get some Ikenvape 510 Fusion or Platinums, I have found them to be superior to Boge or Smoktech. (Although I do still use Smoktech 3.0 ohm single coil carts as my backup cartos to the IKV's)

I previously had not been a fan of the earlier clearotanks, but I have tried the most recent versions of the Kanger ProTank and Vision Vivi Nova's, and can say there has been improvement in their flavor production from earlier models. You may find them to be a little easier to fill and maintain than a cartotank, although they will still need coil heads replaced from time to time. A cartotank will require slightly longer to set up, but once you set up a cartotank or two you are good to go (aside from easy refills) for a week or two. The cartomizer will need to be replaced every 1- 3 weeks, just as the coil heads in a clearotank will...so they are similar in maintanance expectations.

If you need a beginner's guide to the more common juice delivery devices available, I go over the more basic types in this article: E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs

I have more articles that you should find useful here, including a review of the IBTanked, a cartotank setup guide, and a large list of vendors that sell pre-punched cartos for cartotanks, here: E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs

I'd stay away from any RBA's, at least until you've been able to research them. They have the potential to give the best vaping experience, but they are generally considered to be an advanced item and can require time-consuming tinkering to work perfectly.

RenoLizzie, when I go to CCV, there are various OHM options and coil options for the SMOKTECH products. Help? Also, what tank do you use with this Carto? Do I need any other adapters/fittings to work with the Provari?

I appreciate the input, but detail and links mean everything. :)
I want to get a set up ordered, but don't want to leave anything out, when I get my first order(s) in. :)

Thanks!

What Baditude said!!! The IBT is an awesome tank on the Vari. I use Ikenvape Fusion cartos and use my trusty Dremel tool to slot those bad boys. While punched cartos work fine I have found with my hyper 8-10 second pulls the slotting feeds the carto much better. I used to drip on LR 306's but have not touched one in almost 1.5 years because I like the fill it and forget it vape mode better. No more sauce hand from overzealous dripping and needing a small filler bottle in one hand while vaping with the other :)

I prefer non-fiddly stuff myself. Carto tanks for me, too. I like IBTanked. I was using SmokeTech prepunced cartos, but lately I have had a string of bad ones. So now, I am waiting on Ikenvape to be stocked, upon the many recommendations found on this forum.

Fluid flask is cool looking, but a bit more fiddly IMO. Mine had been leaking, and I set it aside for awhile. I rewatched PBrusardo's video on it, and followed his tips. So far, no leaks. However, you can get two IBTanked for the same price.

In the last 3 months, I have taken a broad discovery path with regard to juice delivery devices. As such, in the past 2 weeks, I have defined my personal juice delivery device preferences. I trust that my experience may help you during your own juice delivery device discovery journey.

My go to, everyday set-ups, are OCD pyrex tanks from IBTanked fitted with an Ikenvape cartomizers. These are the simplest to use of my preferred juice delivery set-ups. The IBT tanks are of high quality and value, as compared to my other more costly tanks. The IKV cartomizers are the best cartos, which I have used, when compared to the Boge and Smok cartos.

My favorite devices are those that are designed to be rebuildable, as they afford me the ability to customize the atomizer (coil/wick) assembly. My genesis styled rebuildables were my first wake up call with regard to how enjoyable the vaping experience could be. Then I discovered silica based rebuildables.

Whether in a tank or dripping platform, the silica based rebuildable delivery devices are my favorite way to vape. For myself, they offer the best flavor and vapor experience, which I have had to date.

Rebuildables require a bit more time to service and maintain. The quality of the vape is only as good, as the coil/wick assembly made. However, once one figures it all out . . . The Vape is second to none.

RedZone, I trust that you find your own so called vaping sweet spot . . . Enjoy.
