Has the video been completed?

they come with a charger and 2 vision regulars and a case and instructions.

Was this a typo, or do they come with a case?

Thanks!

:w00t: Got my Ultimo today!

It's soooooo cute - I love it. The carto compartment got a little lid, so you can close it off completely - nice. The regular Boge carto fits as well as the Visions Reg. - that's actually important to me, since I like my tobacco juices in Boges. Vapes great. Can use it as a pass-through while it's charging. The skin is sooooo soft - I keep petting it. It's light and fits great in the hand, very comfortable. The primary button is cute too - blue and kinda jewel-y, though it doesn't light up. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to set the date and time. The instructions are hysterical - kinda not in English if you know what I mean. In fact, the manual is labeled "Instyuction". Guys, thank you so much for putting "instyuctions" on the web site - that helps a lot.

Oh, and Bad, thanks so much for the extra VR - it's muchly appreciated.

I'm a happy vaper right now. :vapor:

Correction: the big button does light up, and very prettily, too. Don't know how I missed that - had to look in the mirror.

Congrats!

Can you post some photos?

Glad to hear the button lights up, and that it's producing great vap.

Enjoy.....

...

Right On.

Sounds like it is One Sweet Unit. And Big Shout out for the USPS getting it to you in a Timely and Cost Efficient Manor.

Hey Check this out...

I had a Great idea for a Slider Mod. What about putting a Spring on the Slider to make it an OTF type Switch Blade. Kinda Like when Neo gets the Cell Phone in the Over Night Envelope at the beginning of the 1st Matrix Movie?

Something to think about...

But then again. I'm not sure I could tear apart something as Nice Looking as this PV just to put a Spring on the Slider.

Just received my White Marble, Ultimo 950mah.

Quick first impressions...

The device is LIGHT! While I'm glad it's on the light side (I bought it to use along with my ProVari, which isn't the most convenient Personal Vapor to carry around), I'm somewhat concerned about it's durability. I guess time will tell.

The device is, as mentioned, covered with soft rubber material. As Willdupre mentioned, I also hope that the white doesn't quickly start to show dirt and grime. I wish either GotVapes had the 950mah in black, or that I had more patience. Due to the fact that neither of these options were available, I purchased the white marble.

The White Marble, by the way, shows almost no pattern. It looks stark white, unless you look very closely, in good light.

The LED display, while on the smaller size, works great and is actually easy to read! Love that it displays not only the time but the full date... 12/17/2011! It also scrolls "Goodbye my master" when shut off. Cute.

Changing settings, such as the date, voltage, etc. takes some figuring out, but I'd assume once you've set the time/date, and your preferred voltage, you won't be playing around with it too much! It does show how many drags you've taken each day (I believe it resets at midnight each night, but I haven't had it long enough to confirm), which is kind of cool to check. Also displays remaining charge utilizing a battery symbol... not as accurate as the ProVari, which displays remaining voltage as a numeral, but still helpful.

What really matters is how it vapes. At 4v, it's vaping great! I have been using my ProVari at about 4.2-4.5v, so the difference in voltage is nearly unnoticeable. This device is providing me with fantastic clouds of vapor and great throat hits!

What really attracted me to the Ultimo was the slideaway carto feature!

I love that you can slide the carto completely into the device, and not worry about losing the cap, or having the tip stick out of a shirt pocket (where my ProVari has lived, for the past year!) I've taken a completely filled Vision Extreme and laid it on a paper towel, for about fifteen minutes, on it's side to see if it leaks, and not a drop has come out. So, I'm pretty confident that I can retract the Vision into the Ultimo, and not worry about simply putting it in my pants pocket when I'm out and about! Perfect!

There is a sliding cover for when the Carto is retracted. Nice feature, but it's a little hard to slide open and closed. Again, this makes the device feel slightly on the cheap side. Perhaps it'll loosen up, and I prefer it being a little bit difficult to open and close, rather then it's sliding open on it's own, and being too loose.

One great feature is that the device comes with a long, and I MEAN long, USB cable, along with an RCA style plug allowing you to use the device plugged into your computer as a pass-through, while charging, or plug it into a wall outlet for a quicker charge!

Nice!

There are also two small holes, located at the top corner of the device, where one could feed a lace or some other string and hang this around your neck. It seems to be the fashion in other parts of the world to hang different objects around your neck...Not sure I see myself doing that, but there ARE holes that would allow someone to hang your Ultimo onto something.

Overall, I'm really pleased with the Ultimo, as a first impression. It's lightweight, can easily be stored in my jeans pocket (my overriding objective) and produces some fantastic vape! Again, these are first impressions after only a couple of hours of use.

What remains unknown is how durable it'll be, and what the battery life is. If I can get a full day's vape out of this (I'll probably need to bring an additional Vision, but for me, that's alright) and it holds up for at least a year, I'll be very pleased!

I've posted two photos... in the top one, the back of the Ultimo, where I believe you can see the pattern in the White Marble. Just couldn't bring myself to get the pink zebra.... hey, years of being exposed to sexual stereotyping has had it's effects on me, what can I say?

(Hope the photos are alright... taken with my Thunderbolt)

If anyone has any questions, feel free....

Very nice reviews guys. I am wondering if you can use peroxide to clean the skins on these? I have successfully used peroxide wipe downs to keep all manner of white rubber type items clean and pristine.

Sent from my G2...so please excuse the spelling errors, correct gets the best of me.

Well, I've been vaping on this puppy for the whole day now, and it's not even half through the charge. Granted, I'm not a heavy vaper, but still... I'd say it can easily go the whole day for just about anyone but the heaviest vapers.

Like Shel, I hope it's durable, I'd be heartbroken if it failed any time soon. I guess the fact that it's so light sort of brings on an instinctual concern in that direction, but, on the other hand, just because something is made of plastic, doesn't mean it's necessarily dinky, either, and lightness has it's uses. It doesn't pull your pocket down, for one thing. And the Ultimo is eminently pocketable. I mean, if it was precision-machined and made out of thick stainless, it would cost three times as much, and weigh a lot more.

I noticed that inside, where the carto goes into, the parts don't go together all that tight, so I'm a little concerned that if the carto leaks, the juice can get into the battery side, so I'm going to be double-careful to make sure I don't put a leaky carto in there.

Cleaning concerns is why I got the cow - it's mottled tan-ish gray-ish, so fingerprints won't show all that much. I didn't see myself with a zebra either, but the cow is not bright-bright, so it's kinda "tasteful". :D

I do like the fact that you can hang this on a lace or some such. I don't know about hanging it from my neck, but I could easily see attaching it to my wrist - that could be convenient on occasion.

I agree with Shel that the lid for the carto slide is a bit on the tight side - I think it would be nice to loosen it up just a tad on the next iteration. It feels like it might break - you gotta push it really hard to open and close. Another thing I'd do is put a removable sleeve in there so that if the carto leaks, the juice won't go into the innards, and it would be easy to clean. But these are just suppositions at this point - no problems so far at all.

And clouds and clouds of vapor. This thing is great that way. If it proves to be durable, this will be my default PV when I'm out. I love my ProVari, but it's a bit cumbersome to carry around, so I'd be all set up with ProVari at home, and Ultimo on the go.

I'm curious what folks think about the location of the big button. I don't know if it's good or bad for everyone - I keep wanting for the "cow" to show, so I almost wish the button was lower, so when I hold it, it's not completely hidden within my hand. After all, it's so darn cute! :D

And I hope GV might sell the case for it separately - that would be nice, and I'd buy it for sure.

Also, I don't know if I mentioned it before, but the small Fluxo also fits in there - you just have to be careful that the drip tip you got on it is really tight, because if it comes off, I have no idea how you'd get the carto out, since the top of it will be slightly below the edge of the box. (Tweezers, maybe?)

Anywho, I still think this is just about the neatest toy I got in a loooooong time - good job, GV. Love ya, guys. :) If you get it in black, or some other darker color, I'd likely get a second one.

half way through day 3 on mine and still not even down to half charge according to the battery indicator. somewhere in the neighborhood of 900+ hits at 4 volts, can't be precise because the hit counter resets to zero on occasion haven't figured out why I thought it was when it hit 200 but I'm at 250 now and it zeroed before that the previous cycle, the battery time feature isn't really accurate at all, neither of these is a real issue to me though as its more amusing than anything to count hits. turning the thing on and off with the button seems a bit tricky you have to do 5 very quick presses in a row to do so and occasionally I have to try a couple of times to get it to turn off or on. probably a good thing though as I don't want it to turn on by mistake in my pocket. the main button could be a bit more accurate though. every once in a while I press it for a hit and it doesn't fire up on the first press, though that happens infrequently enough that it doesn't bother me perhaps 5 or 6 times since I started using it.

the Fluxomizer XL Clearos fit in with the stock rubber caps, with enough room to close the cover if you use the mouthpiece that comes with them or a shorty drip tip they are pretty close to flush with the surface when detracted though not low enough to close the lid but again that's good enough for carrying around in the pocket. even with long drip tips they only stick out perhaps half an inch, definitely deep enough that sticking in the pocket will not cause any stress on the tubes or cause the drip tip to be bent off.

I showed it to my friends at the Suncoast Vapor's Meet, and they were suitably impressed with it's size, weight and features. though they were also a bit curious about battery life due to it's light weight, and since I had only received it that day I couldn't give them any indication of how long the charge would last, but I will be sure to wax very enthusiastically next month.

every timer works it just not what you think, the date and time work as normal, the puffs will show the puffs but the minute timer is only a point to point, so if you vape on it and leave it alone and check the timer it will show you how long since the last time you vaped, once you fire the button to vape it resets that counter back to zero., any other questions let me know or watch the new video for help., im glad you liking it

Went out today (casual attire lol) and hung my cow on a lace around my neck. Quite comfortable with a thick soft lace, though I had to put an O-ring through the hole, 'cause the hole is very small. If the Ultimo wasn't as light as it is, I wouldn't be able to do that - I hate heavy stuff on my neck, feels like I am cutting off the blood to my brain.

Got a little beaded bag to be it's home when I'm out in not-so-casual attire. Another excuse for shopping. The day before last, I went to a party, and the cow was quite a conversation piece. I think I might have converted a guy, too.

Still haven't had to recharge it. It's all good. :toast: :vapor:
