OK well I came across a juce today that said .. This roll your own tobacco flavoured alternative has a light yet satisfying flavour. Made from real tobacco extracts to provide you with a great authentic tobacco flavour.

So how would they get extracts and would this not have maoi's in it if this is the case ?? Or alcaloids (prob spelt wrong lol)

Any thoughts ?

There is a term for this and i went through a bunch of discussions on it a week or two ago. There are i think its WTE? liquids that contain more of the extracts of actual tobacco, and have been noted as more satisfying than your typical eliquid. However these extracts may also contain unknown negative side effects or contain carcinogens, i am not sure. I am satisfied with my current liquids after months so am not inclined to try

There's the easily obtained, commercially available "Tobacco Extract" and "Tobacco Absolut". TA is an extremely concentrated, thick and oily extract, and can be used in very small amounts for commercial vendors and DIY. More interesting is the Naturally Extracted Tobaccos, which use high quality cigar, pipe, or whole leave tobacco. They are usually made by using maceration in pg and/or vg, but other ways are used. They are my favorite flavors and many others as well. The Natural Tobacco thread in the general e-liquid discussion forum is dedicated to those.

I'm sure some of the chemicals will be present, but that most of them are added during the manufacturing process, much of which could be skipped if they plan to boil the tobacco leaves down for the extract rather that cure them and treat them for smoking.

Yeah, and cigar and pipe tobacco doesn't have nearly the amount of additives as cigarette tobacco. I think most of the carcinogens come from the combustion of the tobacco but some may not be a could be present in the extract. At the worst it's still a lot more safer than smoking and at best it's harmless. Probably somewhere in the middle, it's nothing that worries me enough to not want to vape NETs.
