Hey Guys, Can someone please help me out in explaining the Super COncentrated Flavorings by Real Flavors? Are they VG or PG based? They recommend usage at 1-2.5%, Dopes that mean these are not stand alone flavors? Can I use them as standalone,
Im used to making large batches at once, i,e 100ml because my daily consumption is alot, Would the flavor will come out same say I use 2% for a 100ml?
See the previous post by me where I quoted the owner of RF as to the flavor carriers:

The SC flavor carrier is:
Walt_RealFlavors
It is very rarely PG, if it is, it is a very small amount (under 1%). I think that is only in 2 flavors as well.
The liquid you see is a mix of VG, PDO, or a different carrier like distilled water. (with the 3% alc in that), that is what Alcohol base is. We are working on getting the specific gravity listed on ALL flavors soon
Many of them work great as standalone flavors (french toast, bread pudding, pancake, pumpkin pie, etc) though I personally usually mix them at 3.5% total flavoring whether doing a single flavor one shot mix or a recipe of multiple flavors. I have seen others make recipes with these at 2% or under, and others I have seen mix them as high as 7%. It all depends on the specific flavor(s) and users/mixers preference for flavor so testing whatever you buy is suggested to determine what % you want to use them at since these are a fairly new line with not a lot of info out there as to preferred percentages in mixes or single flavors.
