I know better than to argue with you
(I'd have better luck getting a useful response back from a broken stick).
As a vendor, you are responsible for doing the necessary due diligence on any products you sell. Without doing so, you put others at risk.
Us, as well as many others have done this due diligence on products such as AW, Efest, etc.
We personally don't carry Sony's because those, unlike AW and EFest are very difficult to find non-fakes, and we don't risk with our customers well-being on whether or not they may or may not be real. We don't know for sure, we don't carry it.
That's not the same thing as carrying a product like the AW batteries, which have a proven track record.
Yes, Mr "Andrew Wan" re-wraps his batteries, but he does so with high quality cells that can deliver to their specs, and then tests them every time; hence we are comfortable in carrying them.
I actually had an AW 18650 short on me a few days ago, it was sitting on the table and got in contact with some loose change. Guess what ? It didn't explode! It simply huffed and puffed and burnt out.
This is the second time in a week, on two different forums that I've seen you derail a thread due to your "Battery Safety" expertise. If you were so much an expert, you'd spew some useful information once in a while
(For knowing it all, you didn't know how to move over a database? Shame.)
I have no clue how you're still allowed to participate on this forum, and even less of an idea why anyone would ever purchase from a bitter, know-it-all like yourself.
Like I said before, I'd HATE to have a beer with you.
Cheers!

Then take it from one...
Nothing make you bitter quicker than getting burnt from not knowing what you are doing.
Not really much of a stretch, or even "bitter" logic to suggest products from China may not be as advertised. Just plain old common (or maybe not so common) sense.
If you still disagree, I have a $500 Rolex for you. - even says Rolex on it.
Of course you wouldn't fall for that, order your Rolex from China rather than Rolex so why would you on batteries?
Its what this whole topic boils down to.. If you want the Sony batteries, order them from Sony!! Oh they won't sell them to you? Its a loud and clear message to you then.
