Ive noticed in a lot of ppls sigs, these banners that keep a running score of time w/o an analog, $$ saved, etc... some of these figures are pretty impressive btw...

Now that Im going to be vaping in place of smoking, What should i do with my former 80$ a mth cigarette budget? For starters im going to turn that carton every 10 days into jucies, cartos, supplies, accessories etc.. but once Ive bought all i can buy what then.... paint my motorcycle? take ballroom dancing lessons? maybe ill go buy a CD, its been a long long time since Ive paid for a compact disc, guess im due to for one.

what have you done with your savings from the switch? just switched?, what do you plan to do with all your new monies?

LOL,

I spent it on things I should have been spending it on the whole time.... like bills ECKKK.
Thats actually a great question. I was thinking about this because I am very poor first off. ( arent we all in this economy) But when I was smoking, I would always FIND money to buy cigarettes. Whether I dug in change, or let other things slide. I actually dont have any more money at all. Ive been vaping since January. I think I just havent been going without other things because I didnt NEED to have money aside for cigarettes. Unfortunately, I havent yet figured out how to put money aside for eventual vaping needs. Hence my current situation........ ROCK-------ME--------HARDPLACE

LOL, but awesome question none the less

Money isn't so much the issue, if i can waste monies on cigs i can certainly spend that same dollar more wisely. The thing im running into at this moment is the shipping times. I can not find anywhere locally selling supplies for this stuff, minus the a local head shop selling "smoking everywhere". So im likely so run out of juice (*mumbles*cart mods*mumbles) before my order from friday will likely arrive tuesday at best.

I like the idea of taking the actual cash that i spent on cigs and stuffing it into a jar of some sort where i can visually see it and be reminded of it.. and on occasion sprinkle it around my bed and roll in it.

I have opened a savings account and have started transferring 6.25 from my checking every day that I do not buy a pack of cigarettes. Sometimes I didn't have cash to by cigs but I always found a way to get them so I will stick with this plan. I plan to use the money to buy my juice and new vaping toys with whatever is in my savings and what is left over will go to pay down my credit cards sooner rather than later, after that I will be saving for a down payment for either a bigger piece of land or a challenger, ok well maybe a mini van , I have kids ;-) .
I want to get a sig line banner but mine would be wrong.
I technically started vaping in March of 09. But finally stopped smoking 3 days ago. It has been a long frustrating process for me but I think I am finally happy vaping instead.

I like the idea of stuffing a jar with all the $ saved on analogs....might try that once I "break even". I too am spending my "saved" money on new juice flavs and I can see how this might be an obsession for awhile!

I'm also actually "pre-spending" my analog savings on a trip to Moab next week....

Round trip gas price from Seattle to Moab: $392.70 (41.3 packs of analogs)
$$ not spent on analogs for the trip: $85.50
My boyfriend not pitching a fit every time I need to pull over and suck an analog and then complaining that I smell like an ashtray: PRICELESS

I totally get this. I married and ex smoker. I have to make sure I don't smell like smoke before going to bed so he can sleep. UGH I am so happy my hair doesn't smell like smoke and I don't have to make him wait for me every place we go to smoke.
