I have just read some of the posts on the e-cigs and am more confused than ever. I am interested in trying these, but dont know which ones are best, where to get them, and so on.
I am a smoker for 45 years and have tried to quit more times than I can remember. I want something that looks, feels and tastes like a real cig.
Any advice is welcome. Sorry for being such a NEWBIE

Thanks
Jim

Hey Jim,

I was in your shoes two weeks ago. So many different posts and opinions...UK and US people....companies and vendors.... It can be a little overwhelming! I smoked for 18 years (almost 19) and haven't touched or wanted one in 11 days now! I started with a "greensmoke" which wasn't bad and got me away from them initially. But I wish someone had told me about the guys at vapor4life.com first! Far superior product, it's a two piece unit, gives a ton of vapor and "throat hit" and you can get one heck of a deal on it from them. I sent my greensmoke back under the 30 day trial and bought a Vapor King. Check out their forum under suppliers for more info and videos. I can tell you the customer service is second to none and the DO answer calls and e-mails. Shipping takes about 3 days from them to TX and seems to be the same for everyone. if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM. I'm pretty sure you can call Steve directly and talk to him.

This is the best advice I can give you. Lots of new people get too hung up on wanting their e-cig to look like a cigarette. This is the biggest new guy mistake you can make. The rule of thumb is: the more it looks like a cigarette, the worse it is.

Also, you aren't going to get anything that tastes like a cigarette.... why would you? Face it, cigs taste like crap. What you can get is one that tastes like tobacco smells before you burn it.

Do yourself a favor... concentrate on getting something that is going to work for you, not something that makes it look like you never quit smoking.

I suggest the Joye 510 model. It's a good unit, not huge, you can get it in white so it's not too unlike a cigarette, and there is a reason why it's the most popular one. It works. Also, do yourself a favor and get the manual switch. It's just better.

My parents just quit smoking after 45+ years with the 510. They love it. And if my dad can do it, anyone can... with the right equipment.

Another popular model is the Vapor King. Some folks swear by it. I've never used it, so I'll leave it to them to fill you in.

Another vote for a good M401/2/3 here

Fantastic flavour and reliability, and, whilst it may not have quite as hard a hit as a 510, it's still got more than a tobacco cigarette, plus, good size (510 is fatter than a cigarette) and, IMHO, is a very good looking e-cig (good proportions)

I second this!!

Try to clone a tobacco cigarette and you'll never be happy with vaping. Get ONE tobacco flavor and 2-3 other non-tobacco flavors to try. I'll bet you forget about that tobacco flavor soon enough. Why limit yourself to the analog clone when you have a plethora of exotic and familiar flavors to enjoy? :D
