I noticed that the draw on my Dragon got easier as I used it. I don't know if it was me acclimating to the difference or some sort of break in.

REALLY hard draw?

I have been using M401 402 and 403 for about 2 months.
I prefer 401 over 510 mainly because of the smaller size and weight.
The 401 does have a harder draw and it can get tiring.
I cut end of cart off to tail pipe direct drip; still the draw is hard.
The only thing I have found to improve the draw is to drill a 1/32" hole in the cart about 7/16" from atty sholder.
Hard draw is not a function of the batt since draw is hard with battery detached.
Looks like the M401 needs to be modified at the factory for easier draw.

Hmmm...I just got a new M401 atty out of storage and the draw of the new atty is much easier than the 2 month old atty...looks like the old atty is ready for a good bath.
Gave my 2 month old M401 atty a H2O, H2O2, and PGA bath followed by a couple quick dry burns; now it performs like my new M401 atty.
My M401 attys draw exactly the same as my 510 one hole atty.
